The historic village located 30 km southeast Eleftherna of Rethymno and 7km from the Monastery of Arkadi. It is known by the arxäologischen excavation were carried out there. The Monastery of Arkadi is a short distance, and the pottery village Margarites. Until the next sandy beach is about 20km. Also impressive is the magnificent mountain views of the Ida Mountains. In Eleutherna there are supermarkets, taverns and cafes.
