A secluded lakefront hideaway, the 1876 House and Guest Lodge at Land's End can accommodate up to 14 guests. The 1876 House has four bedrooms and its Guest Lodge has two bedrooms plus a pull-out sofa bed near the living room's stone fireplace. There is a dock complex for swimming and boat tie-up and sandy bottom swimming area good for children. The two cottages are sited on a private acre with 147 feet of lakefront and are Ideal for extended families and groups of friends. They are usually rented together except in June and September when they can be rented separately. Both cottages have well-equipped kitchens and wonderful porches overlooking lake and mountains.

This is an exceptional environment for family recreation and renewal in a magnificent setting of natural beauty. There is peace and quiet with private spots where guests can pause, take stock and renew themselves. Sally and Bill Faber own Land's End. Bill founded Resorts Management, Inc., in 1973 and was its President until his retirement in 1998. The Fabers' prior experience includes 16 years with conservationist Laurance S. Rockefeller's Rockresorts, Inc., the last four of which Bill served as Executive Vice President. Preservation of the natural beauty of the Land's End environment coupled with the ability for others to enjoy this environment recreationally are goals of their ownership.
