The "pool house" was disapointing to say the least.The pictures of the home on the website were nothing like the actual home.The pool was not heated( heater was not operational) and the pond was empty and surrounded by piles of dirt.there were no paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, laundry soap or even gas for the grill.The air conditioning was not on when we arrived and could not sit in the house for the first six hours we were there.I would not recommend the pool house unless some maintenance is performed. I was really looking forward to staying there but extremely dissatisfied with the condition of the home.
Owner's Response: "Don't Believe" is correct. This guest is a fraud and did not pay for the rental and is using this complaint as a way out of his bill. During his stay he never made a single phone call, text or email. After his stay, and he still had not paid, I demanded the money and then we get this review but still no contact. My lawyer has been contacted and he will now have to come back to NM once again to meet the New Mexico court system.
June 17, 2012 update. After legal action initiated he finally replied and stated he would pay the bill but has not as of yet. He did send some photos of the proeprty stating the house is "junk". So let's go over them. Photo #1 rock pond in landscaping, yep it was out of service due to a broken landscape pipe next to it. #2 pile of dirt next to sprinkler box and rock pond, yes pile of dirt as we were replacing plumbing and valves underground. This is in the landscaping and did not interfere w/the pool, hot tub, grass, playground or any other area a guest might want to use. #3 inside of the old brick housed grill we don't use anymore. We bought a new black & stainless steel Kenmore grill to replace it. Brick stack is cool looking and I am not going to tear it down. #4 laundry room showing we hang up broom, swiffer and other cleaning tools. Yes we are organized so not sure what the complaint was. #5 is confusing as it is of some bricks blocking a gap where a raccoon tore off a vent and some bricks to get into the attic. We trapped her & relocated her to the river south of town. The bricks are there to keep cats out until a mason can come repair the area. I am guilty here as this is up on the roof and is a low priority as it has nothing to do with the house rental use. #6 we place our ladder and those long poles for cleaning the swimming pool on top of the shed that is behind the pool house. What else do you do with 12ft long things? The area is totally out of site and no visible from the main property. The last photo is that of our front road gate looking at our neighbors yard. Yes we do have a gate and neighbors across the street. Again like every photo not an important part of the rental. If the photos were of broken beds, green pool, dirty kitchen, lack of supplies or anything that is any kind of importance I would be concerned. It is apparent this review is clearly about getting out of a bill. Please read the other 40+ reviews that say the exact opposite of this garbage and you be the judge. Best wishes until next time! Jim
