With my 20 years of experience in short term lettings and property management, I feel I am ideally qualified to make your stay in our holiday home in St Lucia relaxed
and comfortable. Many of my guests have returned regularly over the years giving me the assurance that I give an efficient, professional and friendly service.
Anneke D'Arcy purchased this cottage in 2006
My daughter and I visited friends in several parts of the Caribbean and when we
arrived on our first visit to St Lucia, we fell head over heals in love with the beauty of this tropical island, the warmth and welcoming reception we received from the islanders so we did not hesitate to return for a longer visit the following year. It was only natural to then during our second visit to St Lucia purchase this 'small but perfectly formed' cottage which we named D'Arcy and we have never looked back!

We refurbished this house to a comfortable high standard without it losing
its Caribbean character.
We also enjoyed your excellent company and stay in our home in St Lucia and very much look forward to seeing you again same time next year! Best wishes, Anneke and Gina
Stunning Island, Stunning Location, Wonderful villa.
It was everything I expected and more, set in the Cap Estate. It is perfect for the most relaxing holiday of your life.
I will go back to St. Lucia and I will most certainly stay at villa Darcy.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Villa D'Arcy. St. Lucia is a very picturesque island, and the villa made it even more special. The views are so nice and the setting is so tranquil. It is very private, quiet and peaceful. A perfect place to escape. The pool is a nice bonus. It very much added to the relaxing experience.
The villa is well appointed and we quite liked the decor. It was very clean and comfortable. We had the doors to the patio open everyday, adding to the ambiance. The kitchen is well appointed and made making the odd meal enjoyable. We felt quite at home. And Marietta is wonderful. We truly enjoyed getting to know her and appreciated her hard work and cooking!
We have told many people about the place and hope to return again ourselves.
What a relaxing time in St Lucia. Villa D'Arcy was a wonderful place to stay for our 3 weeks - a lovely pool to relax in after a hot day touring the island and 1st class rooms too. It's ideally located with a view across Cap Estate to the ocean.
Just a short distance away are stunning beaches and a popular Rodney Bay with lovely shops and restaurants. There's so much to do on the island from snorkelling to rain forest tours, boating, wind surfing and much much more.
We can't wait to some back to Villa D'Arcy :)
My return to Villa D'Arcy was as expected-absolutely fantastic. Marietta was again warm, welcoming and efficient, and a pleasure to have around. Her laundry service was second to none and nothing was too much trouble for her. Everywhere was scrupulously clean, showing pride in her work.
I felt Rodney Bay had changed dramatically with more restaurants and shops than you would ever possibly need.
Recommended days out would be to "Hotel Chocolat" on the Rabot Estate. Take the plantation tour but remember to book in advance. Also a lovely day can be spent on the beach at Body leSport, a ten minute walk away. There are various packages available and are very good value. Worth popping down to see what's on offer!
D'Arcy is a wonderful place to stay. It is very relaxing together with the warm welcome and courtesy of the locals, the stunning views, I could not wish for anywhere better to stay.
Yes, I will be back again!
My wife and I decided to go on holiday to St Lucia as a very last minute thing. Thankfully we ended up renting Villa Darcy, primarily on the strength of the reviews. We absolutely loved our stay and left after 2 weeks very much regretting that we couldn't stay for another two.
The villa itself is a clean and simple cottage, with good sized rooms and very welcome air-conditioning in the bed-rooms. The pool is small, but very very nice; I can honestly say that slipping into it was sheer heaven, warm and relaxing and very private.
The most wonderful aspect of the villa is its location. It is in the middle of a row of three villas in a tiny cul de sac. The neighbouring buildings are well to either side and barely visible and the feeling is very much one of splendid isolation. You have a view across the whole of Cap Estate, with other villas visible in the distance and the Caribbean twinkling and sparkling in the sunshine and Pigeon Island beckoning on the horizon. The sunsets can be spectacular, although unfortunately there is no dawn view. During the day the peace and quiet are wonderful, whereas at night the crickets throw out a symphony (or perhaps a cacophony) of noise.
Marieta is the maid and is a very lovely lady who quite obviously takes pride in looking after her guests and she made us feel very welcome indeed.
Anneke is the owner and unlike many others will remain in touch, not just before you go, but also during and after the stay.
Renting a car is a must and 4 wheel drive is highly recommended as the roads are poor. However, St Lucia has loads to offer and 2 weeks was barely enough to scratch the surface. Local shopping is very good in Rodney Bay and some of the restaurants are simply fantastic; I would particularly recommend The Edge in Rodney Bay, as well as The Cliff restaurant at Cap Maison. Although I suspect this is of less interest to many, we attended church on two occasions in near-by Gros Islet and the parishioners of St Joseph the Worker literally welcomed us with open arms.
All in all we would dearly love to return to Villa Darcy in the future, as we felt very much home from home there.
I would certainly recommend Villa Darcy to anyone visiting St Lucia.
"I stayed at Villa D'Arcy for 10 days in February. I found the Villa absolutely charming, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The location was most convenient, and driving a four wheel drive from the local car hire company, most pleasing. The supermarkets of Rodney Bay, abundance of good quality restaurants and bars and a fantastic Golf Course a stones throw away. The addition of Marietta the daily maid, who was kind, helpful and considerate, and the private pool, made for a most relaxing holiday. I can hardly wait for my return visit! I will be recommending Villa D'Arcy to all my friends."
Stunning and romantic cottage at Cap Estate overlooking the fairways and greens of the 18 hole championship golf & country club and the Caribbean sea. The cottage is superbly located to take advantage of all the beautiful attractions the north of the island has to offer. Only 7 minutes drive from Rodney Bay where you can find the best restaurants, bars and nightlife as well as the Caribbean sea beaches from Le Sport to Pigeon Point and the beach along the Atlantic Ocean at Cotton Bay, known by locals as Cas en Bas.
