The deluxe flat is furnished with comfort & quality in mind w/all linens, towels & basics for your stay. Off the tiled entry, the richly designed living room looks out through double wooden sliding doors onto the west balcony. The living room opens into a full dining room, furnished in Asian antiques & accommodating a bar connecting the full kitchen, dining room & living room so you can enjoy rich tree-top views from any room. The kitchen is finished in beautiful tile, granite, hardwood cabinets, copper light fixtures & a complete array of culinary supplies for cooking enthusiasts. All appliances are stainless steel, reflecting an elegant European style mixed with Northern Californian tranquility & tradition. Off the dining room there is a lovely, sunny eating area, facing the southeast with a gorgeous view of the University of California and the Berkeley hills. The flat has 2 full baths, both with European porcelain, tile, stainless and glass fixtures.

There is a master bedroom with a queen size Japanese platform bed, a second bedroom with a full-size futon, and a study with a beautiful and extremely comfortable full-size sofa-bed-- sleeping 5 very comfortably, but can easily sleep 6. The flat comes with a complete stereo system, wall mounted Bose speakers, 2 flat screen HDTVs, DVD/CD players, alarm clocks, wireless Internet access, and full phone service. Off the east utility room with gorgeous views, you have the east redwood deck with bistro seating and direct sunlight all day long. There are, indeed, too many amenities to name.

Excellent!

We stayed at this property during the first of a 2 week vacation in California. The listing is very accurate, and we found the flat to be comfortable, well-appointed, with a well-stocked kitchen, including some very welcome grocery and beverages in the fridge upon our arrival. Great location with proximity to BART, and driving into SF was easy. The house is very quiet and surrounded by lovely flowering trees/plants. Suzy and Arun were helpful when needed but non-intrusive, allowing us to feel relaxed in our own environment.
Thanks for a great first week!

I am extremely fortunate to have found this flat instead of booking a hotel for my family for the weekend of my graduation. They all loved their stay here. Arun and Suzy are very friendly and thoughtful; they went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend.

It's an exquisitely furnished, modern, and beautiful flat in a pleasant neighborhood. Highly recommended!

A very comfortable house

We visited Berkeley in February 2011 from Chile, we felt in home, you have all the things that you need, included dvds for the kids, movies, etc. It was very clean.
The location was great.

Absolutely Perfect

I am a very particular and very fussy traveler. This property not only met but exceeded my high expectations. The owner's descriptions and photos were accurate. The flat is immaculate, well appointed, quiet, and beautiful. A common complaint I have with rentals are the beds, but not here. My 4 year old actually requested to come back to the apartment so he could get into the "super cozy bed." Firm mattress, high count cotton sheets. Delicious. And the owner even allowed us a slightly late check out for a 2 day stay. We'll come back, no doubt.

A wonderful place to stay in Berkeley. Very comfortable, well maintained accommodations for our family of 5 adults, Conveniently located. On street parking directly in front of flat always available. Very friendly and helpful owners. Strongly recommended
