Located on beautiful Sandusky Bay (Lake Erie) in historic Marblehead, Ohio, this quaint, newly remodeled, air conditioned waterfront cottage/home is located directly on the water, not down the street from the water. You can enjoy endless sunny days of swimming and sunbathing on your private beach, literally outside your front door.
Enjoy breakfast,lunch, and dinner outside on your private waterside patio. A gas and charcoal grill and picnic table await you. Or stay inside and utilize the full kitchen dining and living area. You might even want to dine at one of the many fine restaurants in the area.
Attractions and Boating: Spend a day at Cedar Point,Castaway Bay or Kalahari Indoor Water Park just 20 minutes from the cottage. Enjoy browsing the many craft and gift shops throughout historic downtown Marblehead. Rent your own boat or jet ski. Watch Cedar Point fireworks every night from your front door.
Have a boat, bring it along. A 25-foot dock/slip is available, just outside the cottage, for your convenience and pleasure. An easy access boat launch is just minutes from your cottage. Cruise over to Cedar Point, Kelly's Island, and Put-n-Bay. Walk on a sand bar in the middle of Sandusky Bay. Enjoy water skiing, parasailing, and tubing.
Fishing and Boat Rides: Love to fish? Set out on Lake Erie for a day of the best walleye fishing in the country not to mention the great perch and bass fishing. If you feel Lake Erie is too rough, you can always turn around and fish in the Bay. We are that close to the lake. Small-mouth and large-mouth bass are plentiful along the rocky shoreline and throughout the bay. Or, fish right outside your front door on your own private pier or right from your waterside patio. After your fishing outing, clean your fish on the fish-cleaning table provided outside the cabin, or have them professionally cleaned.
