The entire area abounds with activities: fly fishing, walking, waterfalls, bird-watching, craft shows, motorcycle riding, whitewater rafting, botanical gardens, mountain biking, skiing, sledding.... Maggie valley is a short 10 minute drive. Cherokee casino is 30 minutes east.
