This amazing beach house is located on a cliff (Risco) right next to the Ocean (Mar) and fully staffed (cook and maid included). It is part of Punta Leona exclusive beach club, less than an hour from San José, which is the capital of Costa Rica.

The house is fully staffed to provide you with excellent food and an amazing, relaxing experience. Enjoy the infinity edge pool, 2 jacuzzies, 5 bedrooms (4 Kings, 1 queen) Air conditioning, cable TV, excellent sound system, and much more. Just a few minute walk to Playa Blanca -home to “Costa Rica’s nicest beach” offers kayak, and windsurfing rentals, Ocean View House for Rent, good surfing, bar and restaurant. whale watching: AS if the natural beauty surrounding this house where not enough. Humpback whales have chosen this spot to nurse their young. for several months every year mother humpback whales are seen directly in front of the house sometimes they come in very close to the house. It is an incredible site so see.

Look out the jungle side of the house and you will see white faces monkey, Scarlet Macaws, eagles and tons of other wild life. It is a nature lovers paradise.

Punta Leona: Punta Leona has historically been a weekend vacation destination for Costa Rican families. It provides a real flavor for Costa Rica as opposed to some other resort which have been developed by Americans and lost the feeling of Costa Rica. Punta Leona has some of the highest security in the area so you and your family and guests will feel safe. By the time you get to Casa Riscomar you will have passed through 5 manned security gates. Punta Leona also has the nicest beaches in Costa Rica. Playa Blanca (blue flag winner) and playa mantas offer great snorkeling and lots of turtles can often be seen right out front, they even lay their eggs on Playa Blanca every year.

Their is plenty to do for the whole family at Punta Leona: zip line canopy tours, beaches restaurants, bars, discotech, live theatre shows, jungle hiking, fishing, windsurfing, kayaks, mini golf, swimming, nature tours, crocodile tours, etc... Please see the website.

Located about 5 miles north of Jaco. Punta Leona offers the highest security in the area. It has the only white sand beaches in the area and lots of amenities like spa, restaurants, canopy tour, mini golf, tennis courts, disco tech, theater, and a lot of fun family activities. Humpback whales are often seen from the house as well as different kinds of monkeys, eagles, hawks and lots of other wild life. PL is also a Scarlet Macaw breading ground. The beautiful colorful birds are all over PL.

AMAZING!!!

We had 5 couples stay at Riscomar for a week. Pete and Lisa were so helpful and Maria was a great cook!! We spent several days at the house with the cooking and the view. We also spent time in Jaco, which was a lot of fun. We did the canopy zip line tour, Tortuga boat excursion, deep sea fishing, and golf in Los Suenos. Every activity was excellent!! We would do this trip again, no questions asked. Thanks again the Peter, Pete, Lisa, and Maria!

Vacation of a Lifetime!

I went on vacation with my husband and 8 of our friends. WE HAD THE MOST AMAZING TIME! The house is everything it looks like...the pictures DO NOT LIE!! The house is well maintained and the views are killer!! The bedroomss are fantastic and Maria keeps the house clean! Maria's cooking is amazing! She made us all feel incredibly at home. She was there when we needed her and never felt like she was intruding. MARIA IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST REASONS TO BOOK THIS HOUSE! Entering/leaving Punta Leone is a bit of a "mission". We booked our own cars. I think it is very important to have a car for transportation if you plan on leaving the house. We booked tours and enjoyed the drive. We used the hills to the beach as a workout. Food prepared by Maria was fantastic. We could not have asked for a better vacation. If you are hesitant about booking..don't be!

The house was wonderful. The owner was great to work with very helpful. Maria and Carlos that work at the house made our trip one that we will never forget. Maria is the best cook ever.We want to go again and would not stay any were but this house. My advice is to book this house only you will have NO regrets.
