I can only repeat what others have described. This apartment is perfect because of the owner who is a most gracious host, and has organized everything to make sure you will have a trouble-free stay. The location cannot be better, 5 minutes from the old town, cinemas, the Cours Mirabeau, the Gare Routiere. The building is surrounded by every possible shop you can think of. The apartment is beautiful, modern, elegant, very clean, super bright, with a grand terrace. The building is also luxe and very secure. You can even have an indoor parking spot if you choose to rent a car. We had a delightful stay in this apartment between Christmas and New Year's and I can't think of a better place to rent in Aix. We will recommend this apartment to all our friends and hope to come back ourselves. Merci Maurice and Helene.

We loved *everything* about this modern apartment ("2nd" floor, elevator). This was our first visit to Aix. We had no idea how charmed we would be. The apartment is just a couple of hundred meters from Old Town, which is vast. We loved every restaurant, every baguette, every vin rouge. Only thing the French need to improve on is the coffee. The espresso pods are not good, pas bon!

Maurice & Helene's apartment is a dream. The balcony is about 50' long. Apartment is so quiet and comfortable that my wife and I slept 14 hours the first night (after flight from States). Ultra clean. Ultra secure. We used the garage under the building. It was a fabulous experience to stay in M&H's lovely apartment.

Maurice and Helene’s apartment is in a perfect location in Aix en Provence. It is literally just around the corner from ‘La Rotonde’ and ‘Le Cours Mirabeau’, which is the center of activity in Aix. At the intersection is the large, informative tourism bureau, where you can book and also begin walking, van and bus tours of the area. In the area are many, many wonderful restaurants. Across the street from the apartment is a plaza with several stores, including pharmacy, bakery, liquor store and ‘Monoprix’ which is a department store with a grocery store in the basement.

This beautiful apartment is a spotless, spacious well-equipped home away from home. The building is in the middle of a busy area of the city, but when you enter the building it is very secure and quiet with a spacious terrace looking out over a very peaceful courtyard. We did not rent a car, but there is a very secure parking space in the basement of the building.

Helene and Maurice are the perfect hosts. Maurice is able to speak English, which was very helpful to us as we are not able to speak French. He helped us plan our train and bus transportation to and from Aix and also picked us up and dropped us off again at the local bus station. They were also kind enough to give us a delicious bottle of wine from their own home village.

We would recommend this apartment to anyone and would love to return there ourselves if we are able to do so in the future.
