Wonderful condo on the beach

In a word, Wonderful! What a great condo at a great location, you can not go wrong. We enjoyed snorkeling at 730 am, picnics on our front lawn, afternoon swims in the pool, dinner at Roy's, followed by nice sunset walks along the walkway. Safeway and local shopping (Target, Costco) 5 minutes away, and a nice little deli/grocery just a walk a way (recommend their deli sandwiches!). If you eat out a lot, there are not a lot of other close by dining options, Marriots were a bit expensive and push timeshares, but food was reasonably good, Roys is excellent highend dining, Just Tacos good Mexican food is good and if drive, Assagios is great, 5 minutes away. Thought that being near flight path to airport would be a damper, but what surprised how few planes fly in, maybe 2-3 and hour in morning, then very few in afternoon. Easy drive to North end of island for sightseeing, and if go all the way up Farrington Hwy, there is a nice beach with great tide pools and shore swimming. We had a 5 yearold with us and loved every minute. Besides the Hyatt in Poipu, this is the only other Hawaiian destination I would recommend and look forward to our next visit. Oh, and the room itself was awesome, quiet and extremely comfortable, the kitchen island was a great place to eat breakfast and having coffee or drinks on the lanai was great. It really felt like a home to us and made the trip all that more relaxing!
