Schönwalde am Bungsberg Cottage Rental Photos and Description

Quiet location, comfortable facilities, private garden area

Holiday House 'Old Kate'

In a thatched house offers cozy, comfortable holiday house (semi-detached) with a romantic nature garden - ideal for 4 people.

86 m² individually designed country house charm: living and dining area with an open kitchen and the bathroom are on the ground floor. The two bedrooms on the upper floor can be accessed via a staircase. The house is centrally heated and supplied with hot water.

Bathroom and kitchen have been recently renovated.

The kitchen is equipped with a new fitted kitchen and includes: convection oven with ceramic hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with separate freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, mixer, of course, sufficient cookware and kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware for 12 people .

The romantic nature garden with the old arbor has grown woody plants. There are plenty of garden furniture, swing for small children depends to a large walnut tree.

Apartment 'Bungsberg view'

The apartment 'Bung Mountain View' is on the floor of an outbuilding of the 'Old Kate' in a very quiet rural location. The renovations have recently been completed. The apartment is very individual and therefore has its special charm. It is ideal for 2 people.

At approximately 45 m² you will find a cozy living room in front of an open kitchen and a shower room. A comfortable sofa bed offers in individual cases also 2 other people ..

The place to sleep (sleeping loft / loft) with a double bed is located directly under the roof and is accessed via a staircase (please see the photos for this purpose).

On cool evenings creates a fireplace with a wood fire cozy comfort. Noteworthy is the view from the window over our old orchard across the unobstructed sunsets! Feel comfortable in our enchanted natural garden under an apple tree, and let it all hang out. Garden furniture is provided.

We will be happy to know our guests on a leisurely round the campfire or know at a barbecue.

Our village and the surrounding area

Hobstin, a quaint little village belongs to the municipality Schonwalde am Bungsberg in the Holstein Switzerland. - Only 6 km from the nearest beach and the Baltic Sea 7 km from Bung Mountain, the highest elevation in Schleswig-Holstein. (The community Schonwalde raises no taxes from their guests!)

In our village agriculture is still operated. There are two farms with dairy cattle, where the cows go to pasture. We even have chickens with a proud rooster (who also used his voice), cats and bees that produce honey. Every year, our mother hen her chicks colorful crowd proudly in front of the guests.

Shopping for daily needs can be found in all the surrounding villages.

Holstein Switzerland region is known for extensive forests, hills and lakes.

Various activities are on offer: The Baltic Sea with its sometimes very different parts of the beach is ideal for swimming and water sports activities that can be exerted on the lakes (eg water skiing, sailing, canoeing). The countryside is ideal for horse riding, cycling and hiking as well as for observations in the many nature experience areas. In the appropriate season can be experienced in our cranes and attracts the eagles circling.

Is worthwhile to know the old Hanseatic city of Lübeck with its historic old town. A Visit to Niederegger you should not miss and try the legendary marzipan cake!

Around here you will find some plants that burn incense in the traditional way the ham and the local fish specialty cuisine is excellent.

The Hansa Park, Germany's only amusement park by the sea, lies in our immediate vicinity, and the Karl May Festival in Segeberg are also just a stone's throw away.

From the cultural events especially the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Eutiner Summer Festival are emphasized in the palace garden.

To the Castle Garden is worth mentioning that this plant end of the 18th Century was transformed by Freemasons. The knowledge sank over time and was recognized again until a few years ago. To this end, there are very interesting guides.

And should rain but again, there are many attractions that invite you to linger.

Smoking inside the premises is not permitted, but you are welcome to do this at one of the beautiful places in the outdoor area.

To dry the laundry drying rack are available along with brackets. Also, each is a vacuum cleaner available.

On request we can take care of Bikes.

Since our animals roam freely on the grounds, the entry of dogs and cats is not possible. However, there are around well-run pet boarding, which we gladly inform you when needed. Please contact us.

Schöne Zeiten in Hobstin

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5
