Walk to parks and public sandy beach. Conveniently located to Lindsay and Bobcaygeon. Short drive to Fenleon Falls. Use of propane bbq, canoe, and rubber dingy included. Sleeps 8 comfortably.

Located on shimmering Sturgeon Lake in the Kawarthas/ Bobcaygeon area. The cottage is located close to Bobcaygeon, a unique town which rests on 3 islands set in the narrow strip between 2 lakes and is joined by 7 bridges. Water is the key element to the several recreational opportunities in Bobcaygeon which include everything from fishing,swimming and canoeing to cruising the Trent Severn Waterway shopping at the waterways operating lock along the way.Visitors can saunter through the assemblage of pioneer buildings at the Kawartha Settlers Village or visit the annual Jeep Jamboree.The city is also home to the Bobcaygeon fair, a century old event that presents animal competitions, midway rides, contests and parade.Area events include the Summer Festival of Lights series in the nearby town of Peterborough, Romeo and Juliet at the Driftwood Theatre Group and Fenelon Falls/Bobcaygeon boat cruises.The cottage is located close to Devil's Elbow ski resort and Kawartha Downs and Slots casino.
