South Woodstock is only a 1/2-hour drive from Dartmouth College or White River Jct., 1 1/2 hours from Manchester & Burlington Airports, 2 1/2 hours from the Boston Airport and only 5 hours driving from New York City.
What you can do:
Fly fish, bike quiet country roads, swim in the town pools or clear mountain streams. Enjoy golf, tennis, antiquing, health club, theater. Visit the Quechee Gorge, climbing wall, and lift-serviced Mountain.
Biking and Adventure Center at Killington. Additionally, with the Appalachian Trail, Silver Lake, and GMHA just minutes away, you have easy access to many other outdoor activities including, hiking, swimming, boating, fishing and horseback riding.

In winter ski Suicide Six (10-minute drive), Killington (30 min to gondola), Pico (40 min), Ascutney (20 min), Okemo (30 min).
