The property is situated on 30 acres. The cabin is backed up into the mountain in a dense forest of trees. You'll hear the wild turkey every day if not see them walking up the driveway! In the summer beautiful mountain laural will greet you on both sides of the driveway. Leave your worries because we supply everything you'll need in this heart- warming home except for food. We are centrally located close to all the attractions like the 3rd oldest river in the world - The beautiful French Broad River for fishing,hiking, rafting. We have world renowned golf courses, horseback riding + gem mining, The Biltmore House + Grove Park Inn + Spa are right here. Maybe shopping for antiques, or viewing the galleries+ museums is what you'd prefer. There is always music + art festivals fantastic restaurants, craft fairs + weekly contra dancing! French Broad River bears the distinction of being the third oldest river in the world, trailing closely behind the Nile and the ironically named New River -- which also flows through North Carolina. Today, the French Broad River serves as a major tributary of the famous Tennessee river, weaving its way around and through 210 miles of Western North Carolina Mountains, taking up the Pigeon, Swannanoa, Nolichucky, and other tributary rivers along the way.
