Our Sand Dollar Guest House: We are happy to share our vacation home with others so that you can experience the charm & ease of Ft. Myers Beach too! It's the perfect relaxing get-away where you can wander around the main beach shops in your bathing suit & bare feet! Sweet! It's the casual lifestyle that we all wish for: No worries no hurries. The biggest decisions of the day are which water activity to participate in (including laying on the beach) and Grilled or blackened Grouper or cold-boiled or grilled shrimp! Even in the hottest season during the Summer, there is always a breeze at the beach which makes it extremely comfortable. We plan to spend as much time at the Sand Dollar with family & friends as time will allow, and hope you will love it here as much as we do, & will come back with YOUR family & friends too!

Flexible Options : The Sand Dollar Guest House consists of 4 separate Suites so guests and families can all be together yet have the privacy they need! 1 & 2-bedroom Suites available -ask about rates & availability!

christmas 2009 in ft myers beach

my 28 yr old son says best christmas ever, my 21 yr old son wants to go back to live, wife liked the house,area,(middle of island) quiet and safe (most important) ...bus service ,food store , quiet beach all with in walking/biking distance, the house has the ability to be divided up into smaller units with outside axcess (important with older kids) younger crowd ,nite life at the north end of the island, rocking beach during the day -roof top bars at nite,plenty of parking at house,only problem was 5 oclock traffic off the island ,go south to avoid traffic.... we will go again
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers

Charming and comfortable vacation home

Nice location, almost on the beach. Very whole totality with sea tema furnishing. Comfortable beds and spacy rooms. We were a group of 12 persons renting the whole floor. Children, teenagers and adults -everyone enjoid the stay, even in the hot/wet summertime.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

A Great Experience

My husband and I spent a week at the Sand Dollar Guesthouse in June, and we couldn't have had a better experience! The house was so clean and well-appointed, and we had everything we needed for our trip. The deck area was nice, and it was great to have both a charcoal and gas grill. We especially enjoyed the stash of beach goodies in the laundry room!

The house is in a great location, and near a beautiful stretch of beach. We brought our bicycles from home and were able to easily ride to the grocery store, main downtown area, and even Lover's Key State Park.

Susan was wonderful to work with prior to our trip, and we really appreciated the tips and ideas of places to go and things to do. She was also a great resource during our vacation when we needed information. We will definitely look forward to our next visit!

Great Family vacation!!!

This is an affordable house just a across the street from the beach! My parents came with us to spend time with the grandkids and they had their own studio so they could have their privacy when they wanted. It was decorated very nicely and we were on the beach every day! Walking to the outdoor restaurants was fun & the kids played on the beach till the food came & then came to join us, all still in our swimsuits!!! It was fun taking our dog to DogBeach too!! We plan to come back with my sister & family next time and rent the whole house! We had half this time and there was PLENTY of room!
