4 Bedroom, 2 Full Bathrooms (1 w/Jacuzzi Tub), Sleeps 11

New chalet style house on lovely secluded, wooded lot. This is located in the wonderful community of Towamensing Trail. Towamensing Trails is 2900 pristine acres, with a 195 acre lake which has 3.5 miles of shoreline. This fabulous lake is stocked every year, has excellent fishing and ice skating in the winter. There is also a trout stream for fishing. There is a 4000 square-foot Clubhouse which features a bar, lounge and restaurant. There is a snack bar, a game room with pool tables, video games, and, locker rooms for men and women. Next to the outdoor pool and children's pool there is also a sandy beach swimming area at the lake. And too, you will find tennis courts, basketball courts, numerous hiking trails and playgrounds everywhere. Just 10 minutes from Big Boulder/Jack Frost Ski area and Splitrock resort which offers movies, bowling or just ice cream. Just 15 minutes from downtown Jim Thorpe, and concerts with amazing views at Penns Peak .

Rental Requirements: Rental Requirements: $250 security deposit on all rental.

Minimum age rental requirement: 25. Proof of age required for lease. Copy of drivers license required.

Credit Card payment through Pay Pal, Personal Check, Money Orders.

There is a $5 charge per vehicle registration paid directly to Towamensing Trails.

Cleaning fees are not charged if the house is left in the same condition when you arrived.

Renter must bring bed linens and towels. Bed linens can be supplied for $45.00, but not towels.

There is parking for several cars. Very close to hunting, fishing, rafting, paint ball, shopping, skiing, snow tubing, snow boarding, mountain biking, hiking and the famous elevated Penns Peak for panoramic views of the mountain side, dining and concerts. Pocono Raceway race car events are only a short 8 minute drive away. Nightlife includes a short drive to restaurants, taverns and dance clubs. The Historic Town of Jim Thorpe will provide several attractions for all ages to enjoy. Minutes from Hickory Run State park, great place to go running, hiking or mountain biking. For the shoppers, there is the Country Junction (worlds largest General Store), the outlet and antique stores all within 25 minutes. There is also plenty of golfing in the Poconos and surrounding areas.

There was eight of us that rented this great house for the Nascar race weekend. It was very new and clean, we had plenty of room for all of us. The deck was great to hang out on and there was plenty of room for us to sit around and watch the big TV. The house is very close to the Pocono Raceway and other attractions. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We recommend this house and would rent again.

This rental was better than expected! The house was clean, comfortable and accomodated everyone that stayed perfectly. The area was very close to the outlets, Camel Beach Waterpark, Cabela's and Jim Thorpe (to ride the trains). We also had an excellent time swimming at the beach, fishing and going on walks to view the area around the rental house. We only had one small issue (blew a circuit breaker) but the landlord was very prompt returning our call and resolving the issue quickly. We would highly reccommend staying at this chalet, you definitely wouldn't be disappointed!

We had an excellent stay at this home in April to celebrate my son's 1st birthday. The space was ample for our guests and we were blessed with nice weather that let us enjoy the deck, as well. The home is very clean, spacious and well-equipped and the listing and pictures are accurate. The owner was very responsive to my emails and I appreciated that. We took a quick drive to the lake/playground too. Towamensing Trails neighborhood is a bit difficult to navigate as there are many dead ends and roads that do not hook up with one another, so if you go out exploring - make sure to take the map provided in the binder or GPS! I would highly recommend this property to others looking to stay in the Poconos.

Ladies Weekend Stay

Hello, We recently stayed in this home for our annual ladies weekend get-away. The house was very nice...but could use some spring cleaning. The only complaint we had was trying to find the clubhouse and garbage deposal place. It was quite difficult. We drove around for nearly 45 minutes just to find the clubhouse and swimming pool. Unfortunetly the weather wasn't the greatest so we didn't get to use the facilities. The only suggestion I have to the owner is to have a more detailed map of the development so that it is easier to get around. All in all, it was a very nice stay. Owner's Response: Our house is cleaned before and after each rental period. There is a information binder located on our kitchen counter which contains a Towamensing Trails map and other usefull information.

Wonderful visit

Four of my senior adult friends and I had a wonderful time in this chalet. It was very clean, had comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The owner was very accomodating and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone. In addition, we enjoyed the local restaurants.
