Fabulous Views and private mountain chalet with lots of space. Bearly Below Heaven has over 2500 square feet! The non-smoking three bedroom, two and a half bath cabin boasts spectacular views!

Main level has a large living room,cathedral ceilings and lots of windows to enjoy the views. The wood burning fireplace sets the mood for warm conversation with family and friends. Kitchen has tons of counter space and is the perfect place to fix an early morning breakfast or meal for a large group. Any of the five decks are a spectacular place to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy an awesome sunset over the mountains. The master bedroom with a king bed and bathroom, complete with a whirlpool tub and separate shower is on the main level. Upstairs has two additional queen bedrooms and a bath room. The loft is home to the pool table, comfortable leather sofa and a futon couch. Additional bedrooms available 2011

We are closer to Wears Valley than Pigeon Forge or Sevierville, even though the official address states Sevierville. We are between the last traffic light in Pigeon Forge (going towards Gatlinburg) and Wears Valley. We can get to most places on back roads and never have traffic! We are 10-20 minutes from all of these locations.

    All holidays are $200 per night, minimum of 4 nights. This rate is for groups 8 or under and does not include larger groups.

    This is our personal family vacation home and it previously rented for up to $295 per night when we used a rental agency. Our rates are very low for such a large home. We have added a 4th bedroom and bathroom as well...giving us over 3000 square feet.
  • For January and February, if reservations are made by 1-15-12, rates will be discounted 10%. For reservations for Spring and Summer, if reservations are made by January 31, we will discount by 10%.

Notes: The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. We love to cook so we have many items available. We will have about 3800 square feet total bu Summer 2011. We will have sleeping for up to 14 people when we complete the lower floor by Summer 2011. This is a very large, spacious home and a wonderful place to meet with family or friends.

15-20 Minutes To Gatinlinburg, Cades Cove, Pigeon: We are in a quiet area of the smokey mountains but close to everything! We have one acre of land and there is nothing behind us to the National Park. We are on top of a mountain at the end of a road. The view is what sold us the land. Very Peaceful and a wonderful place to enjoy coffee in the mornings or to watch sunsets from our decks!

We often see wildlife, including a mother bear and cubs who occasionally wander on our property. From our decks you can see about 14 layers of mountains. We are at the very top of the mountain, remote, but close to everything you would want to do.

Awesome home.

We loved our week in Tennessee at this beautiful home. It is very secluded therefore there was no internet and limited cell phone reception. Lots of things to do. Our favorires were tubing, horseback riding and ziplining all very close.We were hoping to see wildlife but did not even see a squirrel during our week there. Our only disappointment was that the home wasn't very clean upon our arrival and we had paid a cleaning fee which wasn't refunded.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at our home. I apologize about the cleaning. I dont recall knowing that there was a problem until this review was posted. We have discussed the complaint with our housekeeper and listed the expectations that our home will always be clean for guests. I will also telephone you to get specifics of what was not clean.

Some good, some bad. You decide.

This cabin is very large. The hot tub gets warm quite quickly and is very clean. The beds and pillows are good. There is ample seating in the dining area. However, the decks are in disrepair and with loose railings. There are dead ladybugs thick on the loft window ledges. The driveway is VERY steep but manageable. The towels are stained and the shower curtain has mold on it. The toilet in the master was not cleaned. I attempted to contact the owners after we arrived home to notify them of these concerns but after 2 days they have not responded. The price was good for this size of cabin. It was not a bad deal... it just could have been better.

Owner's Response: We have a new housekeeping team to make sure our home is very clean. The decks were repaired as well.

What a view!

My family rented this beautiful cabin for 7 days and we loved it! It had one of the best views that we have seen yet and was at the very top of the mountain, which we loved. The cabin was decorated very nicely and felt like our home away from home. The owner was great to deal with and the rental rates were very reasonable. We would recommend this cabin to anyone who loves the mountains!
