Guestbook comments from the owner
We have enjoyed our stay at your house so much. There is little that you can improve upon. The house is so well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Your suggestions are great- we ate at Harvest and Vicky's vegetable stand is truly one of the best. Aagghh-the beach is perfect!
We are so glad we choose your house and look forward to hopefully staying again next year.
We live in Montauk in the summertime and winter in Arizona. As such, the Montauk house is our home for six months of the year, and we only rent when we ourselves travel for our summer vacation. We do put away our personal things, but everything else, the furniture, kitchenware, etc. is what we use and live with everyday.
We built the house in 1999 to our own tastes and desires. The view over the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach, especially in the evening, continue to appeal. The house is far enough away from the main road to afford a nice sense of privacy, and yet still within walking distance to the beach, which we always do.
The house is great for families. We prefer families with kids, even three generational families as there is something for everyone. We do not rent to multiple unrelated couples.
