Great Location - Terrible Furniture

The owners were friendly, the location was ideal, and the flat was fairly large, but there were a few problems with this rental. There was not a single piece of comfortable furniture in the place. When we told the owners we were sitting exclusively on the only chairs we could tolerate, the two plastic chairs we'd brought in from the garden, they said they would order new furniture immediately. (The beds, though, were very comfortable.) We also found the bathroom sink rather antiquated since there was a separate faucet for the hot water and the cold. There were a few dirty pans in the kitchen and rather inadequate pans in general (I could not find a pan to fry a couple eggs.).
If these items were addressed, this would be a great place to stay,
because the area is truly lovely with many restaurants and grocers nearby while buses just around the corner whisk you to Notting Hill Gate tube station.
Owner's Response: Firstly, I didn't argue with these tenants about the comfort of their chairs. They were the largest tenants who have ever stayed in our place ,Nevertheless I immediately produced extra seat cushions from our own sofa to add to their sofa..... However there are 2 comfortable armchairs in their bedroom. I asked the next two lots of guests about the comfort of the seating & they were totally happy with it.
I take exception to these comments about inadequate pans. There are 5 saucepans in their cupboard plus 3 (yes 3) frying pans. Maybe they never found them........ they certainly didn't mention the problem of cooking a couple of eggs to me at the time.
The basin & bath in the bathroom each have 1 hot tap & 1 cold tap. In England this is quite normal.
They clearly quite liked it here , however, which I'm pleased about.
