Handsome antique farmhouse (built in 1800s) that has been fully restored with all the modern conveniences. New kitchen with Corian countertops and stainless steel appliances, open feel with wide pine floors, exposed beams, and huge fireplace in adjoining living room. Comfortable couches to relax in! Both bathrooms are new. Four bedrooms -- two upstairs, two downstairs. Large backyard with lawn, fully fenced. Perennial gardens and a small vegetable garden for you to enjoy (all lawn and gardens organic). Lie in the hammock under the sprawling apple tree or enjoy a cookout in the private backyard. Conveniently located on Massasoit Road, the 'backroad' in Eastham. 1 mile to Campground Beach (bayside beach) and 1.5 miles to Nauset Light or Coast Guard Beaches in National Seashore. Bike Trail, convenience stores, and coffee shops just across the highway. Wellfleet Drive-in/Cinemas, mini-golf, and Mass Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary a mile down the backroad.

Our farmhouse is conveniently located on Massasoit Road at the intersection of Herringbrook Road, the two popular 'back roads' of North Eastham. It is 1 mile to Campground Beach (a popular bayside beach) and 1.5 miles to Nauset Light or Coast Guard Beaches in the Cape Cod National Seashore, as well as the Seashore's Salt Pond Visitors Center. Coast Guard Beach is rated as one of the 'Top 10 Beaches' in the US every year. The 1200-acre Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, operated by Mass Audubon, is just 1.5 miles down Massasoit Road. Also nearby is the Wellfleet Drive-in Theater and Cinema which features mini-golf and a flea market as well. The Cape Cod Rail Trail for bicycling and rollerblading is a 1/2 mile away. Just down the road and across the highway are convenience stores, coffee shops, several restaurants, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream! We also run a charter fishing business and would love to take you out fishing in Cape Cod Bay while you are here.

  • Both bathrooms are recently renovated and are good size. Upstairs bathroom has a wonderful old claw foot tub to soak in!

  • There are two upstairs bedrooms and two downstairs bedrooms. The Master bedroom with King-sized bed has a private staircase that leads up to it, in addition to the main staircase. One of the downstairs bedrooms has a futon couch that folds out into comfortable double-sized bed. Please Note: due to the antique qualities of the house, the stairs are steep and narrow. Because of this we do not allow young children in the upstairs bedrooms. All bedrooms have either a ceiling fan or floor fans. House is very airy with the wonderful Cape Cod breezes!
