Centrally located in beautiful Leelanau County between Suttons Bay & Northport, our charming cottage on Bass Lake is a fisherman's dream. Perch, Bass, & Bluegill are abundant in the natural lake. Wildlife is a common sight for those who take the time to observe the deer, rabbits,raccoon, & birds.

Sit on the deck & read your favorite novel, or watch the sun set over the lake while you grill your catch of the day!! Our rowboat,canoe, & paddle boat are available for your use. For those who want to swim, public beaches on beautiful Grand Traverse Bay are just minutes away.

We offer you all the comforts of home, including hardwood floors,ceramic tile,french doors, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath,a fully equipped kitchen, a large lakeside living room, central air, satellite tv, internet, & an expansive deck, perfect for family entertaining, or outdoor dining & grilling.

Leelanau County is a beautiful area, one of the best in Michigan, I might add. We are surrounded by Lake Michigan, numerous inland lakes, cherry & apple orchards, & quaint villages. We have award winning wines from local vineyards, live entertainment & gaming at the Leelanau Sands Casino, art galleries, & some of the best dining establishments in northern Michigan. It doesn't get much better than this!!

Enjoy the Best of Leelanau With a Week at the Cottage

If you want a comfortable, home-away-from-home vacation in the most beautiful of Michigan's counties, the Bass Lake Cottage is the place to be. The accommodations are exactly as advertised. The Cottage is located at the center of all the fun outdoor recreation spots in Leelanau County. Our favorites are the hiking trails at Leelanau State Park, but there is much to enjoy at this Bass Lake location also. Whatever your choice for vacation activities, the owners will be helpful in meeting your needs. We have just returned hjome from a week at the Cottage. We will return.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We had a lovely time at your cottage-everything was just as we remembered fro our previous visit. The fishing was great and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the deck. Our boys will cherish our warm summer memories of our time together. Thank you for such a special experience-we love being UP North.

We had an absolutely wonderful week here at Bass Lake Cottage. You can really tell that you take your guest's comfort into consideration. We loved the area and will definitely be back!
