Small but charming

The cottage is very charming and the view is beautiful, just steps away from the water located on a cul-de-sac. The owners just started renting it but have been using it to have their family visit for years, so they are still determining what they need to rent to the public. It needs to be stocked a bit more in the kitchen, but overall it was very nice and the appliances work. The bed is new, actually purchased while we were there- a Sealy Posturpedic. There is only a shower, no tub, and the fridge is small so we had to shop for food a few times. There is no laundry on site. If used as a base for sightseeing and sports it is great, but not ideal for hanging out all day. The living area furniture is wicker and not very comfortable for a long period of time and a little small. This cottage is fine for 1 or 2 people, but more adults would not be comfortable. The TV was small about a 13", only in the bedroom and could use an upgrade, but there is satellite with a lot of channels. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part, the scenery is beautiful and the owners are very friendly and made us feel welcome. The agent renting the place for the owners was very helpful as well. They gave us a lot of info on what to do in the area. Overall a nice place to stay.
