Rome Vacation Rental apartment

This was my second trip to Rome. My campanion and I decided to travel with a group of eight other friends. We decided to rent an apartment to save costs and what a great idea this turned out to be! We chose Mara and Mario's gorgeous apartment complete with rooftop garden and were thrilled to have obtained a reservation in mid-October. Mara was so helpful and thorough in arranging our stay and in coordinating the arrangements with us. When we arrived at the apartment, we were spellbound. The property was so beautiful and clean with more than enough space and privacy to accommodate our large group. Imagine sleeping in a quaint cheerful bedroom, just within site of the old Roman ruins and in the shadow of the moonlight overlooking the Palatine Hill. The apartment was within walking distance of Trastevere where we spent 2 evenings shopping and dining on the excellent cuisine of Rome.

Down the street from the apartment, is a charming little Italian Specialty Deli "I Fielini Alimentari" where we bought all of our groceries for breakfast and cocktail hour. After 5 great days in Rome we did not want to leave. However, I tossed a coin in Trevi Fountain, so who knows, perhaps, my wish will come true and I'll go back to Rome again and stay at Maria and Mario's residence.

We spent 4 delightful days with 9 family members. The accomidations were better than expected. The roof top terazza is wonderful. We cooked two big pasta dinners and had all the utincels servings we needed. Mario and Mara are very gracious hosts.

10 of us had a family reunion in Rome and had a wonderful time in the apartment. The roof garden is so pleaseant that we came together each evening to enjoy cocktails and dinner on the roof, instead of going out! Mara and Mario are wonderful and responsive hosts. We had plenty of room, the apartment is VERY clean and the location is UNBEATABLE. Thank you Mara and Mario!
