Julianadorp aan Zee is a small, quiet village. The well-known seaside resort with its miles of sandy beach is one of the sunniest places in the Netherlands. The hinterland, with the colorful tulip fields offers a wide choice of hiking and biking trails. Alkmaar, Noord-Holland and Amsterdam are easily accessible by car (or train) to reach. Supermarkets and a shopping center and restaurants are right in town (1 km away). Within the complex there is a bowling alley, an indoor swimming pool (with slide and children's pool, solarium, whirlpool and sauna), a playground, a tennis court and miniature golf course. (130 m).
