Two of the country’s foremost residential estates, the Eco-Residential Villa Real and Valle del Sol are located here, with two golf courses nearby. If you enjoy riding horses or are an avid equestrian, check out the La Caraiia Riding Academy or the Centro Equestre Valle Yos-Yo in the area.
While much of Santa Ana is modernized and property development is high, it still retains its local flavor. Visit the Ceramica Las Palomas to get some local pottery or check out the colorful road stalls for some traditional goods. In the center of town, like in any Costa Rican district, is a soccer field and park with a church opposite it.
If you desire a true Costa Rican adventure, visit one of the many volcanoes or waterfalls the country has to offer. You may also take a trip to the Pacific coast and visit the beaches, especially those of Manuel Antonio National Park, where you will find a wealth of activities including the world famous 'zip line' canopy tours. All are accessible just a few hours' drive from our condominium, which makes a great home base for many of the adventures you will experience here.
