3BR Lakefront Vacation Rental Lake Toxaway, North Carolina USA

Our lakefront home is a slice of Heaven on Earth, sitting beside Lake Toxaway and nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains! It is ideal for the active family.

Start the day with a steaming cup of coffee on the deck, and watch the morning mist rise from the lake. The ducks form their 'V' and follow the early morning fishermen. Contemplate the day's activities, which could include golfing, whitewater rafting, tubing, swimming, water skiing, hiking, horseback riding, or any of the other many activities available. Perhaps a day of craft and antique shopping is in order...

Dinner can be had at any of the fine restaurants, or cook on the grill. In the evening the family can gather to play games, do puzzles, or simply watch TV, or DVDs, Everyone will enjoy a fire on a cool mountain evening.

Too busy? Well then get a good book, and head for the porch swing, hammock or rockers. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the woods and lake.

About Jeanne

My husband Bob and I are from Fort Myers Fl since the 1970's although originally from Indiana and NJ respectively. We bought our home in NC as we both grew up on Lakes in our childhood. Lake Toxaway brought us back and gave us the best of both worlds! I am a Real Estate Broker with Hazel R. Fisher & Associates in LakeToxaway and Bob is my right hand man!

What makes this cottage unique

We love the little neighborhood with neighbors close enough to 'holler' at, but with the privacy afforded by being the last house on the dead end road, private dock and level lot, big decks and a shaded yard! The fire pit, hammock and swing add to the relaxing mode amongst the many flowers!

Your house was perfect in every way,both for us as a couple and when the kids joined us after camp. We could ask for nothing more to make our vacation any better. Six years and counting...and as usual, the week at your lovely home has been the highlight of our year!
Hours spent fishing...hiking...reading...swimming...and napping have left us rested and relaxed...much better prepared to return to the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The house looked great...fresh paint and new porch furinture a lovely surprise. The yard was looking as pretty as ever..truly one of the prettiest years ever!
Thank you for thinking of all of the little things...the small appointments that make it feel like such a welcoming home. We are already counting down the days until next year!

It has been a lovely week at Lake Toxaway. We had so much fun fishing, swimming, tubing, hiking, and boating. Your house abd location on this lake is so wonderful. the mountains are beautiful and the water is great!
