Our lakefront home is a slice of Heaven on Earth, sitting beside Lake Toxaway and nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains! It is ideal for the active family. Start the day with a steaming cup of coffee on the deck, and watch the morning mist rise from the lake. The ducks form their 'V' and follow the early morning fishermen. Contemplate the day's activities, which could include golfing, whitewater rafting, tubing, swimming, water skiing, hiking, horseback riding, or any of the other many activities available. Perhaps a day of craft and antique shopping is in order... Dinner can be had at any of the fine restaurants, or cook on the grill. In the evening the family can gather to play games, do puzzles, or simply watch TV, or DVDs, Everyone will enjoy a fire on a cool mountain evening. Too busy? Well then get a good book, and head for the porch swing, hammock or rockers. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the woods and lake.

The house, property, lake, mountains, and sun were fantastic. This was easily the most beautiful lake experience of my life. My family had a wonderful, quiet vacation. We can' wait to go back.

The lake setting was breathtaking and the chalet was first class and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The only thing better than sitting on the deck on a sunny day was lying out in the tree hammock. There was lots of antiquing and interesting drives to picturesque historic towns. It was a great vacation and I hope to return soon.

We spent 2 vacations in this cosy chalet; not to mention the great location directly on the Lake. We loved it a lot. North Carolina is beautiful.

We stayed in this property and never wanted to leave. The chalet is very comfortable, it has a lovely screened lanai and large outside deck, all directly overlooking the lake. There's a dock right out front & taking out the pontoon boat for rides, tubing or fishing was our favorite thing to do. The mountains are beautiful - lots of trails and waterfalls nearby - shopping and great restaurants too, if you don't feel like cooking. It was our best vacation & I can't wait to return.
