Great property

Review Submitted: January 24, 2012 Date of Stay: January 2012
This was our first vacation rental and it was fantastic. The property was amazing and the location great. You can use it as a point of departure for wonderful day trips or as the destination where you can just kick back and relax, this property has it all. I traveled with my family which ranged from 2 to 80 years old and with varied interests and the space was great. The owner (Jeff) was a great resource for places to visit and to eat and was so accommodating.. . .he even arranged for a crib which is now available for future little visitors. Thanks Jeff for an amazing time!

RELAXING IN LUXURY

Review Submitted: November 14, 2011 Date of Stay: April 2011
Our first visit to Tucson was wonderful. Staying at this beautiful home really made it for us. It was so private and peaceful, and yet shopping for our needs, going to great golf (Starr Pass Resort is about 10 minute ride) and going dining and seeing the sites were all very convenient. The nature was amazing. You have to go to the Arizona Sonora desert museum. It’s less than 15 minutes away and a spectacular view on the drive over. The whole appearance of the home was luxury.
It was a great value for our group of 8, the kids had fun in the pool and my wife loved having a glass of wine in the hot tub after a day of hiking, shopping and sightseeing. The Master suite with extra large walk in closet, Jacuzzi tub surrounded by the same reddish stone found around the house and the balcony with view of the cactuses and city lights beyond was luxurious. The there were lots of nooks for getting away for reading and with the open kitchen and 2 story living room we all had our own space. I will definitely recommend to my friends back home.

Ahhh....

Review Submitted: August 4, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
The location of the home was great, close to everything. The property was beautiful. Very well maintained, a lovely home. The owner and property manager were very easy to get a hold of and made sure that every need was covered. I would recommend this property to anyone who would enjoy and peaceful and quiet setting with a beautiful home.
When in Tucson we always make it a point to visit the Sonoran Desert Museum. On the grounds is a very nice restaurant called the Ocotillo. You need to make reservations ahead of time. We also visited De Grazia Gallery in the Sun. Very interesting self guided tour. Tubac is always fun, too. We ate at a Mexican restaurant about 4 miles south of Tubac. I don't remember the name of the place, but there are two gigantic chickens out front. Ask while in Tubac and someone can give you the name. We also went to the Botanical Gardens. We enjoyed seeing all the the desert plants and were able to ask questions. The Blue Finn restaurant on the corner on Ina and Oracle was excellent. It's tucked away behind Whole Foods. If you like crab cakes and Key Lime pie be prepared to treat your taste buds! Hope this is helpful. Enjoy!

Magic in the Desert

Review Submitted: April 24, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
After having a pretty poor experience renting a house last year in a different state, we really looked for something we could feel confident about and we found it! From the first emails from the owner to the personalized service of his caretaker, our experience was flawless. The house is gorgeous with some of the loveliest desert landscaping I've ever seen surrounding the property and throughout the outdoor areas. The pool was wonderful and we especially enjoyed the patio area for meals and socializing. It's very private and quiet with plenty of room to spread out. An added bonus - the wildlife - birds everywhere including hawks and a quail that would knock on the window in the morning! The location next to Tucson Mountain Park can't be beat. I would highly recommend this property. The one downside to be aware of are the stairs throughout the house - the hallways, livingroom, etc. are on slightly different levels and the master suite is upstairs. It wasn't a problem for us, but I imagine it wouldn't be suitable for small children or people who may not be able to navigate stairs.
