We even went back and took my cousin and her husband. It was Sat night and geez was it crowded, but they got us in. We will definitely come back if our schedules work out - my friend Sandy always is in the Bridge tournament in Sarasota so we work around that. One year we went to Argentina because a friends husband was transferred to Buenos Aires for a year. That was a great experience. Loved that country. Your beach is awesome. Not crowded at all. We love the cabanas - the weather was medium for half the time but we went to St. Petersburg and shopped and went to a Chuhliy (sp) exhibit. We ate at the Venoy - what a neat place. We also went to Cesar one night just for a drink and appetizers at the bar. I never paid $25 for valet parking before!! But it was windy and cold so we just did it anyway instead of parking our own car. The whole area was great - very "safe" and the units are really nice. Loved having the little cafe there too. We did have a $9 rum drink from the Tiki bar - it was very "generous". I loved the business center for printing out boarding passes - we left a bunch of "stuff" there - liquor and wine and unopened food. I figured the cleaning people would appreciate it - we couldn't take it on the plane - we overbought!
I have your contact info and will pass it along to others and get back with you when we have our schedules figured out.
Thanks again. You can have people call me for a reference if you want to. No problem.
Sunset Vistas is easily accessible to the many attractions along the west coast of Florida. In nearby St. Petersburg you can enjoy fascinating museums, The Pier, and Fort De Soto Beach (recently rated the top beach in the United States). Tarpon Springs is a quaint Greek fishing village known for sponge diving. In Tampa you will want to visit historic Ybor City, the Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry) and of course Busch Gardens and Adventure Island.
