Our cabin is in the heart of Ashe County, North Carolina. This beautiful property is conveniently located in Fleetwood, just 15 minutes from the towns of Boone and Jefferson. In addition we are about 20 miles from the trendy town of Blowing Rock where you can enjoy a day of shopping and dining at both sophisticated and casual stores and restaurants.

Borrowed Time Cabin features 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a TV/game room and dining area, convenient gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and a large deck providing an enchanting view of the Appalachian Mountains with a gas grill and picnic table.

The top floor is a Master suite with a king size bed. A bathroom that has a separate jacuzzi tub/shower and double sinks. On the main floor there are two additional bedrooms and a 2nd bathroom. One bedrooms has a full/twin bunk bed. The other bedroom has a twin/twin trundle bed. The basement level has the 4th bedroom with a queen bed that has a view of the mountains and 3rd bathroom.

Nice cozy place to stay

This was in a nice quiet area with amazing views. The house was well equipped and comfortable for a family of 8. There was plenty of space for everyone and enough separate areas that we didn't all have to do the same thing together. It is close to Boone and West Jefferson. We would definitely stay here again.

Borrowed Time Cabin is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful time we had at the cabin! The directions were fantastic and easy to follow and once there we felt so at home! It is so conveniently located to Boone, West Jefferson and surrounding areas.

The cabin had everything we needed and more - plenty of towels, well appointed kitchen, laundry room, comfy beds and plenty of space for our extended family of 8 on this trip.

We loved the collection of videos and games for relaxing after a hard day of whitewater rafting, horseback riding, sightseeing & hiking,etc. We also adored the peace and tranquility, luxurious appointments and ease of everything from the booking to check out. Ani has really thought of everything!

The view is breathtaking- especially at sunset. It is so quiet and peaceful there and we REALLY hated to leave.

Amazing!

I loved staying in this Cabin; the place is super nice, cozy and very clean not to mention the amazing views!!!

The location is great, only minutes away from the supermarket and the nearest town “Boone”

It was my first time there with my family and we all loved it! I can’t wait to go back in the winter…

I highly recommended.

ASU Graduation Family Vacation

With our daughter graduating from App State we decided to make a family vacation and found the Borrowed Time Cabin. I looked at several but this one seemed to be the perfect size and the right price and the nicest location. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and we were very comfortable making the arrangements sight unseen. Ani was responsive and answered all our questions quickly.

We couldn't have been happier. The cabin was lovely, clean, well equipped and the view was just so pretty. It was the perfect set up for a family or even two families. The beautiful lower level gave us room to spread out.

The weather was not so cooperative for us, so it put a damper on our plans for outdoor activities. We managed one good day of hiking and some exploring on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. We went antiquing in East Jefferson and spent time in Boone. The location is just perfect as it is not too far off the main road and is an easy drive to just about any of the local attractions. When the rain was heavy we just stayed at the cabin and relaxed. It was the perfect space for a family get together.

Our stay at the Borrowed Time will always be a special memory. Thanks Ani and Home Away for making it so easy.

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view!

The cabin was even more beautiful than I remembered. I stayed with my husband in December of 2010 & this past July 2011 we went up with the family and the cabin was even more beautiful than I remembered. The view is amazing. Really it's one of the best views in that area, unobstructed view of the Blue Ridge Mountains with huge wrap around balconies to enjoy all of it! The cabin is big & cozy! We had everything we needed to cook meals, to have indoor fun.. we can't wait to go back!
