SchÃ¶nwalde divided Berlin with a name sign. Until 1990, here was the wall. She shared all the political blocks, was border and is now federal state, county and city limits.
The settlement SchÃ¶nwalde was founded in 1932 as a seaside resort. Starting at the beach, more and more people settled. Their goal: "In Green Living and the city around the corner"
The oldest building is the beautiful forest Schwanenkrug from the year 1784 Originally a horse station, it now serves as a restaurant and in the summer months as a beer garden.
The adjoining SchÃ¶nwalde Oder-Havel Canal is an ideal area for joggers and walkers. In eastern direction it is expanded as cycle route to the Berlin Havel.

Potsdam is one of the most magnificent residence cities in Europe. The Prussian kings created in and around Potsdam numerous Baroque buildings, castles and palaces with magnificent landscaped grounds. For movie lovers a visit to the film park Babelsberg worth the oldest film location in Germany. The old town offers a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. Small individual shops beyond the big chain offers the Dutch Quarter.
Berlin has so many attractions that the time during a visit is not enough everything of interest to cultural and historic sites in the capital to see.
