Incline Village House Rental Photos and Description

Spacious home newly remodeled, 4 Bedrooms + Loft + Den, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 12-14)

Major renovation completed in 2014. New furniture, appliances and TVs. Welcome to fantastic Lake Tahoe. Our home is a comfortable large 4000+ square foot creekside lodge style residence on a spacious 1/2 acre lot that backs up to parkland with a year round creek running through it! You'll enjoy the amenities which include state-of-the-art wireless internet, 3 flat screen TVs with HD cable. The home is low elevation and is very close to town and the beaches (3 minutes). It is very family friendly and easily accommodates larger groups and multiple family gatherings. It backs up to parkland, has a year-round creek and has lots of privacy. In the winter it is one of the first streets to be cleared of snow by the city so you are ready to hit the slopes early. We also employ a snow clearing service to clear the driveway, walkways and parking pad.

You and your family and friends can enjoy meals on the balconies while looking at the towering pines and listening to the comforting sounds of the rushing creek. You can choose a picnic down by the creek with friends and family, enjoy the solitude with a glass of wine and a loved one, or just sit alone with your thoughts. This environment is guaranteed to restore your soul.

Our house is on 3 levels, has 4 bedrooms and a loft area. The first level bedroom is actually an attached apartment/game room with fireplace, bathroom, kitchen and a sun room; perfect for a separate family or a place for teenagers to help maintain a level of separation. This room is set up like a family room and sleeps 5+. It has its own flat screen TV and HD cable newly remodeled bathroom and separate entrance.

Here is the bedroom and bed breakdown:

Master Bedroom - King Sized Bed & TV- Sleeps 2

Bedroom #2 - Queen Sized Bed - Sleeps 2

Bedroom #3 - Queen Sized Bed, Full Sized lower bunk, single top bunk, childs bed - Sleeps 4-6

Apartment - 2 Queen Sized Beds, Queen Sized sleeper couch & TV- Sleeps 6

Loft - Queen Sized sleeper sofa & 6 foot couch sleeps 2-3.

Library - Single sleeper couch - Sleeps 1.

Our house has a fully stocked kitchen with a breakfast bar, a formal dining room with a view of the creek, and a spacious living room with a wood burning fireplace and 20 foot pine covered ceilings. We have quality furniture throughout the house. There 3 new flat screens. There is HD cable TV and a state-of-the-art wireless internet connection for fast and dependable far reaching connections from all rooms and even at the creek!. There is a large mud room as you enter the house off the garage that can accommodate over 12 sets of skis, boots, jackets and snow boards. We also have a laundry room with a brand new washer and dryer. There is a 2 car garage and a huge parking pad that can easily accommodate an RV, a boat trailer, snowmobiles, and several cars.

We often bring our sons, family members and friends to relax and take in all of Lake Tahoe's splendor. We have great memories and we know you will create them, too, in our comfortable home.

At the house we supply a full booklet on restaurants, maps, recommendations, and instructions on many of Lake Tahoe’s offerings. We know you will find this helpful in maximizing your time at our home. We also supply all dishes, silverware, linens, coffee maker, etc.

This is a non smoking home. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. This is the way we maintain our standard of excellence and comfort for our friends and guests.

Incline has three private beaches for your enjoyment. In the Spring and Summer months you can hike, swim in the lake at it's private beaches(3 minutes), raft on the Truckee River, shop, gamble at the Hyatt (5 minutes), or take in the gaming life in the South Shore Casinos or Downtown Reno (both about 35 minutes away). During the Fall and Winter months you can add all the great winter activities Lake Tahoe has become famous for, including world class ski resorts, all a short driving distance from our home.

A private chef is available upon request. Please call for pricing.

We have supplied lots of photos of our home for your viewing. We know you will love it as much as we do!

We truly believe the North Shore of the lake, and Incline Village in particular, is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Incline Village is preferable to the rest of the lake because it's proximity to Reno and the Reno/Tahoe airport (35 minutes) and it's central position to all the great ski and recreation resorts. From our house you're never more than 35 minutes from either Squaw Valley or Heavenly Valley, less than 20 minutes to Northstar and the awesome town of Truckee is about 25 minutes. You are less than 20 minutes to Mt. Rose resort and less than 8 minutes from Incline's own Diamond Peak ski resort!

Mark Twain once describing Lake Tahoe said, 'I thought it must be the fairest picture the whole earth affords' and the Indians referred to it as 'big sky lake'. Lake Tahoe is best known for its beautiful blue and clear water (99% pure), and is surrounded by mountains which rise more than 4,000 feet above the shore. The lake is 22 miles long, 12 miles wide; about one-third lies in Nevada, the rest in California. Elevation at the lake is 6,229 feet.

A Washoe County Rental Tax of 13% is required for all reservations.

About Gerard Bisignano

My wife and I have been married for almost 24 years and we have 2 boys who love to snowboard. We live in the Los Angeles community of Palos Verdes Estates. After much research we chose Incline Village because of it's great reputation, it's close proximity to the Reno airport and it's centrality to all the great attractions that Lake Tahoe's has to offer. This is a 2nd home for us and we enjoy sharing it with friends, family members and our guests who appreciate both Incline Village in particular and Lake Tahoe in general. After many months of extensive renovation we have reopened our home in 2014.

Gerard Bisignano purchased this house in 2005

Why Gerard Bisignano chose Incline Village

My wife grew up in the Bay area and due to her familiarity with Lake Tahoe we started coming here since we got married in 1990. Because I am a Southern California native I was used to going to Mammoth. We have always wanted to buy a 2nd home here and in 2005 finally decided it was time. We are so glad we purchased a home in Incline Village. It is central to all parts of the lake and is the closest Tahoe community to the Reno airport. It also has the private beaches and golf courses that we and our guests can enjoy. Most importantly, it is quiet and serene. Our desire is to share it with guests, family and friends and have the home as a legacy to pass to our children and (eventual) grandchildren.

What makes this house unique

The location is serene yet close to everything. We can hang out at the house all day and read and listen to the sounds of the creek. In just a few minutes we can be at one of the great local restaurants or private beaches. In 20 minutes we can be in Northstar or Truckee, 40 minutes to Heavenly or Squaw Valley.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We planned a family get together and needed a place to accommodate 3 generations. This home couldn't have been any better. The kids had there own area downstairs and the adults had a wonderful area to de-compress in the living room area with 2 story windows looking out to the towering pines while listening to the creek. We could walk by the creek or hike the other nearby trails. Town is very close and we fell in love with Incline Village. We'll be back for ski season!

Great cabin for large family or families in Incline!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is conveniently located in Incline Village and comfortably accommodated our "mini" family reunion of 11 people with room to spare. The main floor and bathrooms throughout are nicely updated. The backyard is beautiful with a pleasant little creek. We appreciated the pet friendly nature of the cabin since we had our very well behaved and sweet yellow lab with us.

Great Place for Family Gathering

  • 5 of 5

We chose this place for a family gathering in March. We had eleven adults and one small child. It work perfectly for us. The instructions provided were clear and the people very responsive. It is close to Incline Village and the information about restaurants and amenities was very helpful

Very comfortable but needs a lot of Maintenance

  • 2 of 5

We had a large 3 generation family stay there and had a fantastic time. Over all it was comfortable and centrally located for our needs, however, there is a serious need for maintenance throughout the entire house. With some TLC we would stay again, but as is, not too tempted. As is, I grade it as fair.

Appliances, grill, furniture, video and wi-fi were excellent.

It would take only a few days to address the problems and cost very little, but it should be done ASAP.

A list of items that need attention:

1) Many light bulbs burned out throughout the house. We had to buy 6 bulbs to be functional.

2) The advertised air mattress had a leak and two people ended up sleeping on the floor one night.

3) 1st floor bathroom tub drained very slow and you usually ended up standing in 2 inches of water before your shower was finished. Also the strip over the transition between carpet/wood floor was off, exposing carpet tacks to bare feet.

4) 1st floor single bedroom closets off tracks and not functional.

5) Kitchen utensil drawer broken and ready to fall off rails. Refrigerator door sounds like it is ready to fall off. Lack of mid-sized pans... only monster skillet or small.

6) Deck screen was off track and leaning against the house when we arrived.

7) Downstairs "apartment" does not offer privacy to 4 guests. It is a single room studio and should be advertised as such. Also, the shower needs a berm to prevent water from entering the rest of the bathroom.

8) Ping-pong table needs to be fixed or replaced.

9) Hot-tub not functional. Needs to be replaced.

10) Closet doors in game room off tracks and not operational.

11) Creek is not accessible from house and is misleading in how advertised.

12) Master bedroom closet doors off track and one not functional.

Also, not a problem with the house, but with Incline Village. The passes to the village amenities such as pool and beaches only allow you to pay the $12.00/person to access.

Owner's Response: I appreciate the guests comprehensive list and will pass it on to our maintenance crew. I did have 2 lengthy conversations with this guest and appreciate the time they took to compose this list. However, I hope it didn't take away from time they could spend in that amazing environment. We are thrilled to share our home with guests and receive glowing reviews. Even from my 86 year old father who has had no problem navigating the 20 yards to our backyard creek. All said, this is a house that we enjoy sharing with others. The fact is that homes will have issues like light bulbs, closet tracks, past guests who break things, etc. this is balanced out by the privacy, ability to gather in common rooms, cook together, eat outside by 80 foot pine trees and listen to the creek. Not to mention the amazing savings. 1 night with 16 people at the Hyatt would cost the same as 5 nights together in 1 great home. Our hottub is broken and we disclosed this. BTW-for you winter guests, we will have a new one before the 1st snow! If you want a great home that is large, close to town and can accomodate a huge group for amazing memories you just found a great option. Also, we are wheel chair friendly and that is why there is no berm in the downstairs shower. Always feel free to contact us with questions. We'll leave the light on.

Perfect Retreat House

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect! Minutes away from the beach, stores and restaurants. It is exactly as pictured on their listing. This is our first trip to Lake Tahoe and the owner was kind enough to let us rent their house on labor day weekend. Very helpful and accommodating. The kids were expecting the Wii console to be present, but it was not there when we arrived (as they brought a lot games and extra controllers). But we're not there to play video games anyways. =)

We all had a good time riding our bikes around and by the trails. The house is very spacious and peaceful. Our group loved it!

Thanks again for making our first trip memorable. We look forward to go back winter season. Will recommend to everybody!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the kind words and it was a pleasure to have you! You are right about the Wii console. After several years of use it recently had to be retired. We have since changed the profile to exclude. We look forward to having you back!

Perfect Family Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place. My husband I gave our children and grandchildren a weekend in Tahoe as a Christmas gift. ( It was perfect for our large group 10 adults 2 kids.) The cabin is absolutely beautiful--close to stores, restaurants and the lake. The downstairs apartment was perfect for young adults. We have always had a problem finding a balance between quiet for the older folks and ability for the younger ones to have their noise, music, television, Not this time-- we kept the lovely living room area with fireplace for talking and board games-- downstairs for ping-pong, music, hot tubbing, etc.

Kids loved playing in the snow outside the back door. We intend to return in the summer.

We also really appreciated that the owners allowed us to stay past the usual check-out time on Super Bowl Sunday so we could watch the game. Highly recommended.

Spacious and convenient!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house. It was exactly as it is pictured. So much space for our family gathering (11 people) PLUS they allow pets! We finally got to take our 10 year old doggy to the snow! The location was perfect for skiing at Diamond Peak for our beginner boys (5 and 8 years old), up Mt Rose Hwy was a perfect spot for sledding while the others in our party went to empty their pockets at the Hyatt's casino. Though the Wii didn't work (bummer because we brought up a lot of games) and the boys were forbidden to play with the ping pong table because that porch is not insulated, we had a fabulous time being together with plenty of space to also have your own private time. Great price, too! I have bookmarked it for future stays.... Just make sure you read the entire package info that they email so you can remember to bring your own shampoo, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much MarieAnn. The Wii seems to have succumbed to 3 years of guests(maybe Xbox now) and that uninsulated enclosed porch area can get cold! We look forward to having you back!
