Paradise Point 2BR Oceanfront home

My husband and I stayed at Paradise Point for a week in July. The house was absolutely perfect. The view from the living room and the deck seemed surreal. The few palm trees blowing in the wind and the white sand beach are now my screen saver. People cannot believe that the picture was actually taken by me. The house is very clean and has everything you need to relax, cook and just chill. The beach is very private. You can swim right out front and take walks without hardly seeing anyone. One of the best things about Paradise Point is the on-site caretaker, Fredricka. She has a knack for answering any questions you have and helping to take care of all of your needs yet you have the feeling that you are are completely alone on your vacation.

The island of Great Exuma has much to offer. We loved hanging out at the local places to eat. You can meet other tourists and get to know the locals. The food was delicious everywhere we went. The atmosphere is extremely laid back. No one is in a hurry and life in Great Exuma feels completely stress free.

One of the highlights of our trip was renting our own boat. We went snorkeling and saw amazing coral, starfish and other colorful marine life. The water is crystal clear and clean. Afterward we went to the "Chat and Chill" for lunch and a few rum drinks. That was a day we will always remember.

We would highly recommend a stay at Paradise Point. It was a much needed reprieve from the stresses of our daily lives. We cannot wait to go back again. We have told all of our friends it is a must for their next vacation!

The house was perfect and totally as described. Everything we could possibly need was there from the kitchen equipment to the towels & bedding, to the washing machine (really great to have!), to the board games and movies! It was spotlessly clean and fresh when we arrived. The location was fantastic!! Right on a picture, perfect beach. We had an amazing time and really wished we had stayed another week!! Hopefully, we will make it back next year. We thoroughly enjoyed Freddie (the caretaker). She was absolutely amazing ... extremely helpful, trustworthy, approachable, respectful, and she has a great sense of humour ... it was great to have her there.

We did an afternoon snorkelling tour with Lindsay & Neville of Starfish Tours ... it was just what we needed and they were great. They set us on the right track showing us the spots to snorkel and the hidden gems so that when we rented a boat we knew just where to head to. We ended up renting a boat from Minns 3 or 4 days and had a super time snorkelling, shelling, swimming, hiking at the different spots. We did spend some time at chat and chill. Had the conch salad ... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! and saw the stingrays. There was a Bahamian Heritage and Music Festival in George Town the weekend we were there and we took that in a couple of days, too ... there was a guy there making conch salad that was fantastic ... we went back everyday they were there to get one of his salads. We did some drives and took in all of the spots / beaches that were recommended and more. Exuma truly is a paradise, as is this property! We cannot wait to get back. Thanks so much ... we will definitely return.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Paradise Point numerous times. both with my family and with a group of friends. I look forward to returning to this beautiful and private piece of Exuma. The accomodations were very clean and private. The location is extremely convenient to grocery, restaurants, and the marina. I have travelled the entire island and sound numerous times and find a new treasure with each visit. Whether relaxing/snorkeling on your own private stretch of beach, or boating to desolate islands you will not be disappointed. I found the beach house to be well furnished and very clean with all amenities necessary for a beach vacation. Including an expansive deck with comfortable lounges for sunset watching and your favorite happy hour spirit. Paradise Point is certainly a great location for your family or getaway. I look forward to returning soon and making my way back to Stocking Island to play volleyball and relax with the locals at Chat-n-Chill.
