This is a perfect family vacation retreat on 15 secluded wooded acres in the Adirondack Park. Our completely furnished, pine-paneled, comfortable chalet features a wood-burning stove and a large deck with a charcoal grill. A screened porch has been added for summer dining and relaxing. A new winter parking area has been added at the top of the driveway to provide easy access to the road in snowy weather. Enjoy nearby skiing, hiking, boating, swimming, fishing, golfing, and tennis, along with day trips to Lake George, Lake Placid, and other tourist sites.

What a great place & time. Third time here & never disappointed.Went to Lake Placid,an Hour ride. Went trail riding on Quads at Loon Lake. Been to Lake George several times. Saw the fireworks on Thursday. Ate at fine resturants. Saw the Talent show on Friday. Spent two days on the trail to Stoney Pond. Fished Stoney Pond,caught 20 or more Bullhead Catfish. There is so much to do that you can not do everything. It does feel great to come off a trail to a nice hot shower. The Chalet is more than roomy enough for any large family, even large group of friends. It's great to come to a place that makes you feel at home. The caretakers are the nicest people we met.(went to church with them two years ago). The rental rate is so reasonable that I feel obligated to help the owners as much as possible.(I've checked the local area,you will not find a better deal for the money) The house is furnished & has more than enough linens & towels. The acreage makes for great privacy. Do not know what more anyone could want from a rental.

Great Family Gathering Spot

We spent spent August 8th - August 15th at this very comfortable chalet. It has everything you need to enjoy a larger family gathering. There are actually six bedrooms if you include the two basement rooms. We had a great time sitting around the fire pit at night. It is only 25 - 30 minutes from beaches at Lake George and Schroon Lake. Lake George is a definite must if you are staying here in the summer. The owner and property managers were very helpful and friendly. The only semi-negative comment is the lack of open space right around the the house but that did not detract from our good time. We would definitly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Recently enjoyed a ski vacation at this certainly clean, very comfortable and tastefully decorated chalet so convenient to Gore Mountain. Wonderful dining table is perfect for games and large group meals. Owner was most helpful and pleasant to work with. Definitely look forward to returning in warm weather to explore the area.

Great house for a family ski trip. 10 min. from Gore Mt. Very convenient. Dog friendly. Only negative is the house was VERY dusty........... Would rent again.

My family stayed at this chalet in August and were treated to a beautiful vacation! The kids loved playing on the tremendous deck and in the enclosed porch, we all enjoyed the spacious, clean bedrooms, and the huge dining room table. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. It's stocked with many antiques, loads of board games and books, so it was impossible to be bored. Great family vacation spot!
