An average accommodation but nice owner

The owner was very nice and friendly and provided a box of goodies for us on arrival and showed us around. She even gave us the access to a private beach which was beautiful. She went out of her way to get a high chair for our toddler which was very appreciated. The rooms and kitchen were clean. However, the views shown on this website look much more prettier than what they really are. All you can see from this unit is a small area of the sea over the tree line. One has to stand to see that view and it cannot be seen sitting down. There are also no windows that one could open in this rental to let the air in (there is a tiny ventilation window in the kitchen area). There are no windows in the bedroom. The outside area was clean and had a picnic table and a hot tub.

Owner's Response: When living coastal, the view is ever changing. On a clear day, the ocean is bright and visible. When it is overcast, as it sometimes is during winter, the ocean seems to blend with the skyline and may not appear as prominently. The windows are quite large, run along the entire front of the place and directly face the view (see photos) but if one is sitting on the couch, you will not get the same effect as standing and looking out. We recently have done a significant amount of tree trimming and clearing as we are always striving to improve our multi million dollar view.
