Home Again – finally! A quiet, easy get-away with exceptional short AND long-range views.  The mountains provide a sense of comfort and history--at least seven ridges are visible from the deck. Sunsets provided nightly. Home Again is a place to pause, to enjoy the soft breezes, to rest and relax. Unwind in the therapeutic hot tub with its jets and underwater lights--magical beneath the stars!  Sway in the hammock or kick back on the deck and gaze at the mountains. Walk or sit in the gardens --there are glorious flowers -- annuals and perennials, shrubs and hedges, colorful red maples, scarlet oaks, sweet gums and hickorys, colors almost beyond belief set in mountain stone rock work. You'll hear lots of different birds, may see wild turkeys and red tailed hawks, and will feel the nearly constant, gentle wind on your face. A solar-lighted path escorts you to your suite, which opens into nearly 1,000 sq.ft. of fully carpeted, upscale living space. The Queen size bed cradles you with a down comforter and Egyptian sheets; French doors separate your bedroom and living area. Enjoy the refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. The rich, full bath has soft, fluffy white towels and colorful beach towels for hot tub use. Home Again - a perfect vacation retreat offering a truly beautiful experience. About Jeannie Murtagh

There are both short and long range views of the mountains and the suite is surrounded by woods and a pasture. It is so private and peaceful. Since the suite, hot tub, and deck face west, visitors enjoy the slow sunset over the mountains every night. And at night, you can hear the owls talking to each other.

I feel so nurtured being in the mountains and it is beautiful beyond words. It's experiential! There is nature everywhere, a cow pasture on the ridge (no cows right now), trees, woods, gardens, expansive views of the mountains. Sometimes the wind whistles and trees make their rubbing noises!

What makes this condo unique

the incredible serenity and peace while sitting in the gardens and looking out at the mountains. It soothes my soul. And it's close to everything.

Not only is Mt. Mitchell nearby, and Biltmore House, also the new Tiger Woods golf course, The Cliffs, is being built not far away. Home Away is just down the street from the Veteran's Hospital and minutes away from Mission Hospitals, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Swannanoa and Black Mountain. Come be wrapped in the mountains.

Our stay was excellent. The unit was very clean and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The location couldn't have been better, very close to the city but you feel like you're in the middle of the mountains as the unit is located on a hilltop with fantastic views of the surrounding areas. The hot tub was very relaxing at night. Overall, you couldn't ask for a better deal for the price given the location in the mountains combined with the proximity to the city and nearby amenities. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Jeannie!

Wonderful!

We had a really great time-- the view is amazing and the amenities were perfect. The hot tub was a little on the cold side the second night but everything else made up for it. It's a short drive to downtown but far enough away that you can enjoy the peacefulness of the property. The property was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting on the deck playing card games that were provided. Jeanie was a wonderful hostess and provided us with everything we could possibly need. I would highly recommend it and look forward to going back again this winter.

This is a wonderful suite with a great view. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming. The suite has all the amenities of home. This is the perfect spot for a nice, relaxing vacation. The property is well landscaped. The quick access to 40 makes travel simple. Downtown Asheville, Black Mountain and Biltmore are all within a 10-15 minute drive. Would definitely stay here again.

When You Need Peace and Quiet

This place has a nice out of the way location. The condo is convenient to everything Ashevile has to offer while giving you a nice dose of country living with the stars at night and cows next door. It is a great place and if we venture back to Asheville, we will return.
