About Tammy Farris

We've always loved the outdoors and places to gather friends and families---and enjoy creating memorable experiences for our guests. The Greer Glen Lodge connects people and nature and it is magical to see it happen!

Tammy Farris purchased this lodge in 2008

Why Tammy Farris chose Greer

Arizona's high country has always brought a sense of rest and reflection ---- a place to unwind and enjoy the beauty, colors and smells of the great outdoors. Greer is 8500 ft. elevation and has a slower pace than Pinetop/Lakeside/Show Low. This property sits quietly at the end of the Amberian Meadow, overlooking the mountains and the Village of Greer. The views are breathtaking!

What makes this lodge unique

Large rooms and bathrooms - comfortable space for the whole family! Private yet close to amenities.

Beautiful exceeded our expectations!

  • 5 of 5

We took a group of about 50 High School students and leaders to Greer Arizona for our annual Winter Camp. The girls got to stay in the Greer Glen Lodge while the boys were staying next door at another cabin. The owner was prompt in all my inquiries while I was planning and was incredibly helpful. The cabin was beautiful, everything was comfortable and homey, and it was easy access to Sunrise Ski Resort. I am still getting compliments about Winter Camp and how awesome our cabins were! We are super excited to return to Greer AZ and to the Greer Glen Lodge next year for Winter Camp!!! I highly recommend this Lodge to everyone!

Pictures are deceiving

Our recent stay was June 16 - June 22, 2012. The cabin looks like it sits back in a beautiful meadow, but it is right off the main road and the meadow you think is right out your window is now a huge ditch because they are doing water control (the bridge off the deck is now gone due to this). We had four kids 8 and under and they had now where to play but in dirt. The inside of the cabin is nice but everyone complained about how uncomfortable the beds were. Our bed was hard as a rock! If feel we should have been warned about the water control (the workers where there every day even though we were told the would not be working during our stay) so we could decide weather to deal with the construction or they should offer a discount for the hassle.

Owner's Response: The ongoing construction was due to a recent grant received for damage from wildfires in 2011. The time to complete the work is very short so we have done everything possible to let guest know of the ongoing construction. The guest did receive an substantial discount of two nights free with the reservation. We also offer all guest the option of using the adjacent property which is not under construction and offers plenty of room for childrent to play. We have never received any complaints regarding beds and maintain all of our beds offered to guest are very comfortable.
