Hello prospective renters !
I'm a fellow surfer in the Redondo Beach California area and hope you will come and enjoy our Villa in Nosara! I've Just Purchased a very interesting vechicle called a Bajaj Torito which is sort of like a 3 wheel golf cart with a roof over it and a surf board rack has been installed on each side. They drive them all over Asia! It can carry up to 3 people. (So families of 4 or more please rent a vehicle:) which I am including at NO EXTRA CHARGE!. They usually rent for $50 a day down here! The money you will save on the Bajaj for a week is almost like getting my place for free! I JUST HAD SURF BOARD RACKS INSTALLED ON THE Bajaj. 2 RACKS, ONE PER SIDE. Take it to the Beach, grocery store, wherever you like, whenever you like! just fill up the little gas tank for me when you leave:) I have also added a couple of doubles size air mattresses in case you have more people coming:)or more kids:)
The place has 1000 sq.ft. of interior space and 500 sq.ft. of patio. 2 beds (both queen size), 2 bath tubs. Granite & Stainless kitchen with a full complement of appliances, and a laundry room with a clothes washer/dryer. It’s on 1/4 acre with its own private pool that is fully tiled and graduated 4 to 6 feet!! It has super quiet split system a/c's with remote controls. There are 4 separate A/C's, one in each bedroom and two in the living room. The bedrooms have two very attractive ceiling fans and there are two in the living room as well.
You can do every kind of out door activity you can imagine, except snow sports!! You can hear the howler monkeys and parrots; you can completely open the front and sides of the Villa to be fully immersed in the jungle atmosphere. See the pictures here!
Please call me with any questions. Also,if you have a bigger party coming down, my neighbors here may be able to accommodate you so you can have two or more Villas that are adjacent to each other!! This place is a great value for the dollar, and is very close to all the great activities the area has to offer.
To get here, you can fly into Liberia and drive 2 hours south. Or, you can fly into San Jose. From there it is a 4 1/2 hour drive but you can see some scenic things along the way. From either airport now you can now take a small plane with Sansa or Nature air on to the small air strip right here in Nosara, having one of the three (in town) car rental agencies meet you there with a vehicle of your choice :)
You can even take a bus from San Jose for about $8 US dollars! Then hop on my Bajaj in Nosara and not even need to rent a car:)!
I hope you have a great vacation here and I will help in you any way that I can. I also have an excellent property manager named Eduardo with Nosara Office Supply in Nosara that will take care of all your questions when you get here, and by e-mail or phone before you get here :) such as maid service, fun things to do. etc... He has have been here for over 20 years!
You can call me any time on the numbers listed at the bottom:)
If you miss me leave me some good times to call you back:) The latest amenity I have added is a Costa Rica cell phone that you can get from Eduardo and just get your own SIM card. most of your US phones will charge $2.20 a min. if you happen to use your phone:( this will be a way less expensive way to go. You can book excursions and do all sorts of things with your own local phone when in CR:)
Pura Vida!

Redondo Beach (a Los Angeles suburb city in case you were wondering:) California
You will find at the house, two 24 speed mountain bikes., Surfboards- two epoxy tri fin boards 7'6' & 9'0, one 9'6' and one 8'0' fiberglass. Board rental in the area can be expensive, from $130 a week and up. Save your money and stay at my place!! My favorite and newest board is the bigger fiberglass board.
WE ARE AROUND A 15 MIN DRIVE TO 4 BEACHES:) Guiones, Ostional, Pelada & Nosara, its a little faster by car than the little Bajaj:) Also once you get used to the dirt roads you can go faster after a few days. But, hopefully in Costa Rica you can move more slowly and relax. Remember your on vacation! I've ridden the bicycle to the beach in 25 min.:) so that is an option for those not afraid of a little workout:)
By the way, I cannot guarantee that the Bajaj Torito will be running when you get there as I do not have a fleet of them and some thing could have happened before you got there that is out of my control and the parts have to come from India:) so it is sort of a favor to the renter like the surf boards. So always be prepared to rent a vehicle as a back up plan:) Everything in the 'Nosara' area is spread out in a 3 mile radius so that is why I, and the Lonely Planet travel guide recommend using a motor vehicle.
