Adorable 1+ bedroom cottage in the heart of Phinney Ridge surrounded by lush gardens. Walking distance to Woodland Park Zoo, neighborhood restaurants, shops, and grocery store. Easy bus access to downtown Seattle.

Adorable 1+ bedroom single family cottage in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle. Enjoy sitting out on the front porch or take in the local sites. The #5 bus picks up 1 block away and will have you downtown in a matter of minutes. Within 5 blocks are some of the best restaurants Seattle has to offer, as well as numerous boutique stores, grocery store, and coffee shops (of course!). If you aren't familiar with the neighborhood, you will not be disappointed to discover it. The Woodland Park Zoo is a manageable 15 block walk or a quick hop on and off the #5 bus.

The home features a queen size bed in one bedroom and an uncommonly comfortable queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The upscale sleeper sofa has no bars to wreck a good night's sleep and a very thick foam mattress for the ultimate in comfort. The 2nd sleeping area features two twins with skylights and low ceiling height which makes it ideal for kids but a bit tight for adults which is why we have a maximum of 6 people, only 4 of whom can be adults. Eat in kitchen and a separate office space with a wireless capable DSL modem. Bathroom features a clawfoot bathtub. Fantastic, charming home base for your Seattle vacation!

This property was great for our family and we had a wonderful stay. Two things that would have been helpful to how as a family though is where the kids are meant to sleep upstairs there is no window coverings, which we found made it to light to fall asleep easily and bright too early in the morning as well. Also while the back yard is lovely there is no fence between the neighbors on one side. This was not a problem for our older children but for our 2 year old this was a bit challenging.

Perfect Cottage In a Great Walkable Seattle Neighborhood

The cottage was spotless and welcoming and very comfortable. The location was stellar both for walking and a starting point to explore other parts of Seattle. Linens felt as good as they smelled. The kitchen was equipped very well - only suggestion would be a coffee bean grinder and a french press :-). Overall, a lovely place to stay!

Very clean with very nice furniture. The kitchen had just about anything needed to prepare food along with a start up of cleaning/soap supplies. Easy keyless entry to house. Felt very safe. Love Ken's Market near by.
