RATED THE MOST DESIRABLE LOCATION IN THE PAPHOS AREA. This first floor apartment is located in a small gated development right on the shoreline. It has magnificent views across the limpid, blue Mediterranean. Be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves! The coast is west-facing and the sunsets across the sea are to be dreamed of. There is a reserved covered parking under the apartment. There is a four hour spring clean between lettings. It is less than 20 yards to the shared swimming pool with its roman steps and paddling pool. There is more information on our website. Please contact us for the URL. We are located in a small gated community right on the sea. It is about 800 yards from the main Paphos to Coral Bay road. There is a regular bus service into Paphos about 3 miles away. Fields of bananas, oranges, olives and figs are still interspersed in the locality. The unspoilt Akamas peninsular and the spectacular Troodos mountains are each just 1 hour's drive away. The ancient sites of Paphos are right on the doorstep - Tombs of the Kings, the ancient amphitheatre and the picturesque port dating back to the time of Ulysses. Cyprus has it all, from snow in the mountains in winter to glorious sunshine for most days of the year. Come and enjoy the natural hospitality of the Cypriots in their tavernas and fishing villages.

Notes: Arcadia Village is a small, private, gated community. It is tranquil and secure within a few metres of the sea - no roads to cross. This two bedroom flat, on the first floor, has magnificent views of the sea in all its moods from its ample terrace and living room. The sea views from the master bedroom are of star quality. The terrace is fully equipped with table, chairs, two sunloungers and a large parasol to provide ample shade if required. Internet and Self Catering Starter Pack: We know how awkward it can be arriving perhaps at unsocial hours and needing a restorative cuppa! So we supply as standard to get you started: tea, instant coffee, evaporated milk, sugar and bottled water. In addition, at your request we can provide, for an extra 10.00 Euros (pay when you get here), a welcome pack which typically includes: fruit juice (1 litre), eggs (6), bread (toast sliced), jam (small pot), spread or butter. Cleaning, Laundry and smoking: Cleanliness is our watchword. The apartment gets a 4-hour spring-clean before each guest arrives. Sue (our housekeeper who lives locally) can do an interim clean if required. This is a non-smoking apartment. Guests are requested to refrain from smoking in the apartment.

Heating and Air conditioning : The rates include for costs of heating and air conditioning.

The description of the property was spot on and even better than expected. It was clean and well maintained. The location was great, minutes from the pool and sea. It is a bit of a walk to the local shop and the hotel next door and up the road is only a short walk. Even though we made do with a car fro 2 out of 4 weeks, I would advise having a car all the time to get out and about to see the sites. If you dont want to hire a car, the taxi from the airport is approx 45/50 euros. Mind you, the owner knows a british couple who live in Cyprus and the husband provides a very good, friendly and cheaper service for 30 euros. Well recommended!! We all enjoyed the holiday tremendously and are seriously considering booking again for next year. I would recommend this aprtment to anybody.

Superb location

My friend and I stayed for a week in March and were very pleased with the apartment. The location is superb - so close to the sea that the noise of the waves woke us up at times. The weather was not superb for sunbathing all the time but the walks along the coast both ways from just outside the door were fantastic and more than made up for it. And the balcony was great for sunbathing when the sun finally did shine. Only improvement would have been provision of satellite TV as we watched quite a bit of TV when the weather was poor - but we made good use of the good supply of DVDs instead. Otherwise the apartment had everything we needed. It was very clean and the housekeeper and owner both made contact to ensure that everything was in order. There is very little in the way of bars or restaurants withing walking distance so you do need a car - but this was pointed out beforehand by the owner. I would definately recommend this apartment to people who like a bit of peace in the sun.

We have just spent a wonderful month in the apartment at Chlorakas Beach, near Paphos. The view of the blue sea and the beach rather gave us the feeling that we were extras appearing in a glamorous location in the latest Bond movie.
The apartment had everything and more that we needed for the holiday, and we appreciated the many little thoughtful things such as board games and cards, dvd player etc and a plentiful supply of books and dvds. Everything was provided and we could have left half the contents of our suitcases at home!
We hired a car for part of the holiday but also enjoyed long walks along the coast in either direction. Walking to Paphos harbour takes around one and three-quarter hours plus stops for refreshment at the beachside bars at the hotels on the way
The bus stop is not far away and we found the local transport cheap ( 1.35 Euro) and easy to use. Buses stop running at around 7pm and a taxi back from Paphos or Coral Bay costs around 12 Euro.
The Pendaras restaurant on the corner was very good and for fresh local food we recommend the Hondros, by the dirt car park near the harbour, and for the full Meze, 7 St. Georges, on the road from Kato Paphos to Yeroskipou.
The location and the apartment are thoroughly recommended. We'll be back!
