Our extended family spent a week here recently. We loved the house, which was clean, exceptionally well-maintained and well-appointed, and large enough that we could all retreat to our own rooms when we needed a little break. We spent hours on the deck overlooking the gorgeous Snake River, watching eagles fly, and we loved the outdoor kitchen, especially the chance to roast marshmallows in the fireplace after dinner.
The older cousins taught the younger cousins how to fish and we played bacci ball, bows and arrows and wrestled on the wide green lawn.
A hot tub would be a great addition to this property. I personally missed having a swimming pool, but we piled into cars and drove 10 minutes to the Palisades Reservoir for swimming. Some of us preferred that, as otherwise we might've been hard-put to find reasons to leave.
The owners were very responsive and generous in providing information--a breeze to work with. That adds to the whole appeal of this rental.
If you're looking for a lovely and yet comfie home base in the region, look hard at this Swan Valley home. It was paradise!
