Guestbook comments from the owner
We really liked the cabin and the location. I liked the Log Cabin decor. But the lighting in the bathrooms was not bright enough, and it was difficult to get in the large soaking tub - we needed a step. We did however like the double shower which was very roomy. The single mattresses on the floor were not comfortable for a couple over 50, so the cabin doesn't really work for two couples. It would be fine for a couple and their children. A curtain would be good for the sunrise up in the loft. We enjoyed our stay.
We bought this cabin as a vacation get away for family and friends. Since then we've bought another little cabin 5 miles away which we also rent. Our extended family uses the cabin often, so the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfy. Jim does real estate consulting, and Ginger teaches workshops on Mail Art. We love to hike and kayak and cook dinners for the family. We have two grown children who live in San Francisco and Oakland.
This area of Idaho, Wyoming and Montana is just gorgeous. There are so many beautiful areas to visit - mountains, waterfalls, rivers, fields of wildflowers throughout the summer, great snow all winter - you will want to be outdoors every day. Late spring is the best time to see the animals with their new offspring, and October brings the spectacular golden 'quaking' leaves on the aspen trees.
Private secluded area near large ranches.
