"We had a great time - even when it rained on us, we took that time and pumped up the local economy; found many neat stores! Your cottage is cute and beds very comfortable. Thanks!"
We took our two and four year old boys on our first real family vacation to Pentwater this summer. I grew up vacationing in Pentwater so I wanted it to be a special time for my boys. We loved the house and the location! With young children it was fun to be blocks from downtown. The house was charming, clean and equipped with the necessities. The owners were great to work with and we look forward to coming back soon!
Perfect for us which was 2 couples. Close to downtown and beach. Cottage was clean and easy to find. Owner was very nice to work with and we would not hesitate to rent from her again. Loved it!!!
This cottage is one of Pentwater's historic homes and it is very charming. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch sipping our coffee. The location is perfect and you can walk to the shops in like two minutes! It was a very hot week, however the home stayed fairly cool for not having air conditioning, the fans did the trick for us. The bathtub/shower would be difficult for anyone older or with a disability to get in and out of, however it was very functional other wise. Our deposit was returned to us very quickly and that was really appreciated also! We would love to stay there again.
Our family loves Pentwater and we really enjoyed staying at this charming cottage. We especially liked sitting on the big front porch enjoying the peace and quiet. It was great being so close to town and being able to walk everywhere, Our vacation went way too fast but we are looking forward to next year!
Introduced my nieces (15,12,11,10) to Pentwater in June 2010. We had excellent weather, warm water, multiple sandcastles, lots of ice cream and tons of laughs. It was an "all girls" vacation and made more fun by staying in this cottage. It was a true cottage in the sense that it was charming and old, but clean and well kept. I am a former Pentwater resident (22 years) and go back as much as possible. The last time the nieces were in Pentwater, they were babies so staying at the cottage allowed them to get reaquainted with Pentwater. Doing dishes was a new concept to these girls but that's what made it fun. This cottage was perfect for us and the location was excellent. Girls enjoyed being "independent." We're already talking about next year. Thanks for a wonderful time!
