From The Sleepy Square :
In Campanet a small lane winds downhill until two stone pillars herald the entrance to Son Jorda, where a driveway of some 200 metres, passes almond and olive trees before arriving at the villa’s sheltered courtyard and main entrance.
From the courtyard, tall wooden double doors open into an imposing hallway, with mellow terracotta tiled floors and wood beamed ceilings that are replicated throughout the house. Double doors on the left lead into a spacious living room, comfortably furnished with chairs and sofas arranged around a wood burning stove set beneath the chimneybreast. A sturdy dining table and chairs provide a formal dining area, whilst French windows open out to the grove of almond and olive trees to the front of the property. Another door leads to a second atmospheric sitting room in the restored original barn with exposed stonewalls and huge open fireplace in one corner.
The Immaculate Fitted Kitchen :
Includes full cooker with gas hob and electric fan oven, dishwasher and microwave oven. There’s a table and chairs for informal meals, and French windows lead out to a garden patio area where breakfast can be served with birdsong and mountain views. The kitchen also has a walk in pantry, plus adjoining utility room with washing machine.
Built to accommodate a large party in comfort, there are a total of four bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a separate shower room. On the ground floor is a beautifully furnished double bedroom, a small dressing room and adjacent stylish full bathroom with double washbasins in a marble surround.
At First Floor Level:
And reached by a graceful tiled staircase are three attractive twin bedrooms, all with sloping beamed ceilings and sharing one full bathroom, plus a separate shower room. Two of the bedrooms have French windows to a terrace that runs along the front of the property and affords fabulous views of the mountains. The third bedroom has views over the pool and wooded hillsides plus access to a further peaceful terrace to the rear.
Outside the 10m x 5m pool, with requisite Palm tree, has roman steps into the shallow end and generous sun terraces.
Between the villa and the pool, there will be an area of lawn (the seeds are planted) and also in the shade of the trees, a paved outside dining area complete with patio table and chairs. Beyond the pool, the land slopes upwards to a small wild area of woodland, great for younger members of the family to explore!

This villa is beautiful! The photos do not do it justice - it is truly stunning and has a huge amount of space, making it perfect for a couple of families staying together. V well equipped - there was nothing that we needed that was not to be found in the villa. Beautiful gardens, beautiful location with views to the mountains. We will definitely come back!
