Our week-long stay at the La Valle del Sole proved to be an ideal staging point for the touring adventures that our group of four undertook within the nearby region. The Cinque Terre was available on daily trips and the ancient, undisturbed walled city of red-roofed Lucca is a delight. A return to our Villa after a day of meandering assured a night of quiet relaxation amongst the vineyards and the countryside setting (look for the fireflies at night--pure magic). Our hosts, Stefano and Szilvia Capannini are warm and inviting people who take an interest in their visitors care and interests.
