The perfect Sanibel Vacation!

If you are looking for a quiet, restful place to stay in Sanibel this is it . This adorable bungalow is even better than I could have imagined. The location and the beautiful beach really exceeded my expectations. Decorated in pretty cottage chic, it is comfortable and clean without being too fussy. The bedroom looks like a page out of Pottery Barn and the kitchen is very well equipped. I cooked dinner most nights and everything I needed was there and then some! I loved the little deck at the front of the bungalow, perfect for a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine before dinner!. There is a cute side area as well for grilling with chairs and a place to put your shells and wash off after the beach. There were also bikes provided for us as well as beach chairs and an umbrella ( we brought out own, but they are there if you need them) We also brought our own beach towels. My husband and I were looking for a place to relax at the beach and have some down time and I honestly have to say we really did have such a great time. I had so much fun shelling on the pretty, private beach. It was the perfect place to enjoy the sun and watch the dolphins, birds and the beautiful sunset. What also made it nice was the short walk back to the bungalow to have lunch or get a drink if you wanted. There is lots to do, a cute little cinema, lots of restaurants, shell museum, and the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. Or you can't go wrong just relaxing and enjoying the slow place of Sanibel which is what my husband and I did. I would probably recommend shopping at one of the Island supermarkets. We shopped at the Publix Supermarket before crossing the toll bridge thinking the markets on the Island would be expensive. They were not and both markets Jerry's or Bailey's were really good, you can't go wrong with either one of them. I would highly recommend this bungalow to anyone looking for a place to stay that wants a low key vacation with lots of peace and quiet. I know we can't wait to come back next year!
