Just returned from our second visit with Sergio and Amelia,absolutly brilliant, nothing too much trouble, chartered a yacht, went down the river on canoe's, visited Hot Springs brilliant snorkeling in local coves, Lovely local wine and fruit. Lovely restaurants. Last time we visited with teenagers this time 10 adults for a surprise birthday celebration we couldnt have chosed a better way to celebrate.

20 of my family spent a fantastic week with Amelia, Sergio and their delightful son Francesco in late October 2008. Their house is ideally suited to a large family gathering. Of importance is the fact that each bedroom, with en-suite loo, shower and basin, opens to the outside of the property. Large pool, plenty of alfresco seating, marvellous BBQ/spit-roast open brickwork oven and big lounge with Sky TV and the owners ever-friendly help made this a very memorable holiday. 5 minutes walk from an enormous (mile or two) empty sandy beach with a gently shelving shore line made it ideal for young children and adults to swim in even in October. The temperature was always warm even in the evenings. A well-equipped kitchen is available for self catering and on three nights, Amelia and Sergio cooked and served excellent meals for us at reasonable cost. Don't miss Sergio's spit roasted suckling pigs. 10 minutes walk from a supermarket for most everyday supplies. Quaffing wine shop, (take your own container - £1/litre) bank and large supermarket 5 minutes drive away. Mini vans, bicycles, boats and fishing trips available for hire (the latter two not tried). On this website there are not many properties that take 20-strong families. Recommended very strongly and we will return.

Tom Barret - we had the most fabulous vacation in Valledoria, near Sassari in the
North West of Sardinia. We were in a house situated in a Eucalyptus forest, about a mile from
Valledoria, few hundred yards from a gorgeous beach. The house had accommodation for 18 people, an industrial kitchen, a sitting room and a dining room, (we never used this but ate outside in a shaded dining area. The owners, Amelia and Sergio, were Sardinian, spoke excellent English
and were very friendly and helpful. We had the use of two mini-buses for trips and there was a bicycle on which I did the morning run for fresh bread. It was my first time on a bike in thirty years, I may be rusty but you really do never forget. In fact it was a real home from home with sun and sea.
If we wanted to cook, we had the use of the kitchen, if not, Amelia &/or Sergio cooked, traditional Sardinian fish dishes, barbecued suckling pig. Work is a bit of a shock after the wonders of Sardinian relaxed life.

Wir waren vom 11. - 18.Juli 2009 bei Amelia und Sergio.
9 Kinder und 9 Erwachsene
Zu Beginn waren wir begeistert die Fotos im Internet sind
1:1 und entsprechen dem, was man in Valledoria vorfindet.
Das ganze ist eher eine kleine Pension. Die Zimmer haben alle einen individuellen Eingang und eigenes Badezimmer. Schön gemacht !
Doch im Verlaufe der Woche - aergerten wir uns leider immer mehr. Es waren meist Kleinigkeiten.
Am Ankunftstag wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Zimmer-Service eigentlich nur heissen würde, dass die Pool-Area
und die Gemeinschafts-Zonen wie Essens-Bereich, Küche,
etc. täglich gereinigt würde aber nicht die Zimmer. Wir gaben uns damit zufrieden, doch leider klappte auch dies nicht: in 7 Tagen wurden die versprochenen Leistungen nur 3x ausgeführt. Beanstandungen wurden zwar umgehend ausgeführt, sofern Amelia und Sergio vor Ort waren, leider waren sie 2x 2 Tage weg. Unstimmigkeiten wurden damit abgetan, dass wir irgendwas missverstanden hätten - obwohl mehrere von uns Italienisch und Englisch sprechen. Die Zimmer sind zwar sauber aber das eine oder andere Zimmer riecht nach "alt/feucht". Das 6 Meter Boot war leider nicht in Betrieb (Schaden). Der Tennisplatz gehört zu einem Camping-Platz und ist meist besetzt. Die Entfernung zum wunderschönen Strand ist mehr als 100 Meter - aber das Meer erreicht man zu Fuss in 5 Minuten.
Eigentlich schade, denn Amelia und Sergio sind sehr nett und das Haus mit den vielen verschieden Ruhe-Bereichen ist schön und für Gruppen und Familien wunderbar geeignet. Es fehlt nur an Kleinigkeiten, Sorgfalt, Beständigkeit im Erhalt und Pflege der gesamten
Liegenschaft .

Wir waren im März 2008 mit einer Mädel-Handballmannschaft in diesem Haus. Die Trainingsbedinungen sind sehr gut. Strand in 1.Min zu erreichen. Sportplatz 5 Min. usw. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und ausreichend für 20 Personen. Die Busse, die der Eigentümer anbietet sind für ital.Vehältnisse OK.
Gerne wieder! Sehr gastfreundlich!
