Our view is magnificent !: GT Summer House is located on 150 acres of beautiful pasture that has been in the family for over 40 years. Enjoy the serenity and view of the beautiful rolling hills and lush valley. Experience the vast array of wildlife, including Eastern white tail deer, turkeys, Canadian Geese, and on special occasions you might catch a glimpse of our resident fox and her yearly litter of kits. It is so serene and peaceful here...In the evenings, after a busy day, sit on our covered porch and Relax or feel free Hike and Explore the property. We supply the necessary equipment needed to enjoy Fishing in our two streams or NYS stocked Otego Creek. The groomed field in front of the house is perfect for a Game of: Baseball -Volleyball -Badminten- Horseshoes or to sit around a Campfire (all equipment provided) All this with a backdrop of the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine. We welcome guest to visit our Blacksmith Shop (on the property), see forged iron work made the old fashion way.

The house location is a short accessible drive !: Travel times are approximately : 5 Min to Dreams Park 8 Min to The Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown 12 Min to the Oneonta, All Star Village We are conveniently located on County Hwy 11, making travel to and from the Dreams Park and village of Cooperstown a simple and short trip. (Bittersweet Lane is our private driveway clearly marked with a street sign) Only 1.5 miles from our house you will find a restaurant, featuring homemade country cooking and also a fuel station/convenience store for those forgotten or last minute items you may need during your stay with us.
