Grounds of the House:: Watch deer run on the beach at dusk, seals come to call on their morning swim, and whales spouting by in their season. The grounds of this sanctuary await your barefoot trek with manicured lawns, gorgeous flowering hydrangea, rose, lily and perennial gardens dotting the landscape and bordering the entire property. Teak furniture on the lawn invites you to sit and relax, or take an outside shower and find your way to the soft sandy beach for your heart’s delight on the private walkway and companion bench seating called “Walter’s Bench'. Father and son, Robert Elliott I, and II, the property owner and his son, designed and built this stairway and bench-landing to the beach which they named 'Walter's Bench' as a tribute to their late father and grandfather who so dearly loved Nantucket.

Special Events:: Weddings and outdoor tented events are possible with landlord's written permission and required permits from Nantucket.
