I cannot say enough great things about the Jay Peak Ski House! We loved it so much, several of us are considering the same type of home to build or buy in the future. The home is well appointed with plenty of space to lend to privacy if desired or group activities. Upon our arrival, we found a fully equipped kitchen, large dining area and a charming living room with a lovely gas fireplace. There is one bedroom located downstairs with a full bath accessed via the hall. The upstairs has three comfortable and spacious bedrooms, full bath as well as a game room that can double as a bedroom with a fold out sofa bed. Fresh towels, linens, blankets and pillows were found neatly stocked in closets throughout. The heated garage became our ski gear storage and I think we can all agree that there is nothing better than warm and dry boots, gloves and coats to put on in the morning before the first run. The Owner's thought of everything! You'll find books, board games and DVD's (even foosball) for evening activities as well as a surprise ping pong table in the garage. Tasteful and comfortable furnishings can be found in all rooms. The exterior of the home is that of a log cabin with a wrap around deck, gas grill and fire pit. The house itself is nestled in a beautiful clearing of trees with a view of the mountain. Just minutes away from the Jay Peak Ski and Golf Resort, this is the perfect winter/summer destination. Our group of friends intends to come back yearly together and there is even talk of small family reunions between individuals and couples. The Owner's were extremely easy to work with and very hospitable. My exchanges with them were very professional and the ease of the rental lent to the overall satisfaction. This is your Home away from Home! I highly recommend this house to future Vermont travelers. Please note, you can tell immediately this house was built with a lot of love and thought and it should be treated as well or better than your own home. It stole our hearts and we can't wait to stay again! My personal thanks to the Owner's. You did an amazing job! (Our group totaled 10 adults, 30-somethings, avid skiers/boarders with a love for the outdoors - rave reviews from everyone on this trip)
