Great place to walk and ride a bike. Wonderful sipping wine on the large patio overlooking the 17th fairway. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, perfect for our small dog. We liked everything.
My husband and I stayed at the Valley Lakes home over President's weekend. It was so relaxing and wonderful. The owner, Wayne, was so nice and very accommodating.
We brought our 2 dogs and they enjoyed having the extra areas outside to run around.
The house was clean, cozy, and very close to wineries. The neighborhood was quiet and very clean.
The kitchen was very well stocked! We made dinner in the home every night so that's a plus.
We cannot wait to return!
Great location! Perfect to get to all the winery's and perfect for a family dinner on Thanksgiving. All the amenities you could ask for and more.
I had the luxury and pleasure of staying at Valley Lakes for a whole month! It was just me and my dog Samantha. We walked every morning and saw deer and cranes everywhere we went. The surroundings were beautiful an quite. I love the kitchen and the bright openness of the home. I was close to everything without being too close. It was just what I needed to recharge and relax. Thank you Wayne and Julie.
The house exceeded all expectation! Cozy, comfortable, PERFECT. If you are going to be in Napa/Sonoma for any reason, this is the place to stay! We will be back again. Thank you for everything.
My husband and I spent three wonderful months at this home last summer and are returning again this summer. What a fabulous home in a lovely setting. The owners have done a great job with their upscale renovation. The kitchen is especially excellent which is important to us because we love to cook and entertain. The setting across from the golf course was relaxing and entertaining. The house is on a side street leading to a cul de sac so the traffic is minimal. It is easy to take long walks from the house to enjoy the peacefulness of Oakmont. There are great facilities - pools, tennis courts, work out room, trails, farmers market, several restaurants right in Oakmont and community events. A lovely place to enjoy all the wonderful life that the Santa Rosa/Sonoma area has to offer.
Our house is on the 17th fairway of the main golf course in the Oakmont Active Adult community. It's in the heart of Sonoma Valley wine country, and has direct access to the walking and biking trails of Annadel Park. St. Francis Winery and Vineyards, noted for its food and wine pairings, is just across Sonoma Highway from the entrance to Oakmont, and Ledson Vineyards is just a quarter mile beyond. There are dozens of wineries within 5-10 minutes of the house. Oakmont has 3 recreation centers, each with a pool, and 12 lighted tennis courts.
